Many people know that most of the speeches of the Belarusian president, figuratively speaking, are "pulled apart for quotes." Some of his expressions "fly away to the people" and become aphorisms. There are already whole collections of catch phrases and interesting sayings of Alexander Grigoryevich on the Internet. But there is one phrase that the president himself likes to repeat often.

"Give me the economy, and I will do everything else without you," these words wander from speech to speech of the president. Alexander Lukashenko puts a lot of semantic "load" into them.  As he himself says, there will be an economy – there will be no "revolutions" and rebellions, there will be an economy – there will be sovereignty, there will be an economy – everything else will work out well. In particular, the Belarusian leader told about this during his speech on March 31 with the annual "Message of the President to the Belarusian people and the National Assembly". By the way, it should be noted that the address to the Belarusian people and parliament turned out to be bright and rich. The theme of the Address, as the President noted, was the conditions for preserving the sovereignty and independence of the Republic of Belarus. "Why am I putting this topic on your judgment and on the judgment of many millions of our citizens? It's very simple — never before in the history of our country, especially our independent Belarus, has there been such an acute issue as sovereignty and independence," Alexander Lukashenko explained at the beginning of his speech.

Traditionally, the document itself (the Message) will be carefully studied and comprehended by various segments of the population of Belarus for a long time. In addition, undoubtedly, the content of the Message is of considerable interest to the foreign public. According to the Secretary of State of the Security Council Alexander Volfovich, this is because the Belarusian president frankly and clearly answered the question of what needs to be done to ensure the security not only of Belarus, but throughout the world. "This speech is necessary not only for our people, but also for the world. Today it was correctly said that not only Belarusians, but also citizens of other countries listened to the president. It was a message to the entire world community. Everyone needs peace, security, and protection of the people. People want to live and work in safety," Alexander Volfovich stressed, commenting on Alexander Lukashenko's speech.

It should be noted here that the opinions of a number of listeners regarding the speech of the President of Belarus are also of particular interest. First of all, because they give an opportunity to assess whether the Belarusian leader has managed to answer the questions that have matured in society in his address and clearly explain to the citizens of the country how the state will continue to develop.

For example, the Chairman of the Council of the Republic Natalia Kochanova, commenting on the message, pointed out that, despite the sanctions pressure, the Belarusian economy is developing. "Sanctions are not some kind of news for us. Indeed, sanctions are often applied to us. Because when a country develops according to its traditions and laws, many people do not like it. But at the same time, we see the results of the policy that is being implemented in our country," Natalia Kochanova noted. "We see that the economy shows that we can live and work in peace today. We have enough jobs. We have people today who want to earn money – they can work. Please work in enterprises, organizations – there are jobs. Opportunities are open for the supply of their products for export. And, of course, we must preserve all that we had, all our production facilities and enterprises," the Chairman of the Council of the Republic added. "Therefore, the number one issue in the economy is the creation of new technologies and industries, import substitution. What the president is talking about. And, of course, this is the effective work of our enterprises," Natalia Kochanova summed up.

Secretary of State of the Security Council Alexander Volfovich, of course, focused on "his" competencies, which Alexander Lukashenko revealed in his Message. "The situation that is developing in the world and in our country was analyzed. In addition, the strategic development of our country was analyzed. National security, sustainable development of the economy and society are very important. The people of not only Belarus, but also the whole world are concerned about security issues. How to achieve this in the conditions of global militarization at the borders of our country, the President spoke today," Alexander Volfovich stressed. The Secretary of State also drew attention to the situation near the Belarusian borders. "The number of armed forces in neighboring countries is growing. Huge amounts of money are being spent on the build-up of weapons. The number of exercises in Poland and the Baltic States also exceeds all conceivable and inconceivable limits. Seven to nine exercises take place there every week," General Volfovich said.

Rector of the Belarusian State University (BSU) Andrey Korol believes that the president's address directly concerned fundamental ideological concepts. The Rector is sure that the issues of world security have a deep connection with the global change of humanity itself. It is not only about the clash of the meanings of society and financial and economic technologies. Today there is an active struggle for intellectual resources, which leads to the polarization of the world. That is why it is important to preserve and defend our basic human values and historical memory, which are the guarantors of the integrity of the state. Andrey Korol noted that today, especially for the youth audience, there is an external information and cognitive impact with the help of technology. "This is the main weapon of today, when there is still no complete picture of life. It can only be countered by a critical look and in–depth analysis," the rector summed up.

Yulia Abukhovich, senior lecturer at the Department of Economic Theory and Marketing of the Belarusian State Technological University, paid special attention to the main areas of foreign trade. "The peculiarity of this year's Message, when, according to the head of state himself, there is less and less space for a safe and decent life on the planet, and a premonition of epoch–making changes is literally in the air, was an honest and open discussion of the unhealthy situation that has developed in international relations," the senior lecturer noted. "The way out of today's crisis situation in the world, which has arisen and is escalating at the initiative of a number of countries traditionally designated by the collective concept of "the West", is obviously strengthening ties between old, proven friends, states that are strategic partners, as well as an even more intensive search for points of rapprochement with other countries, just like Belarus concerned about destructive processes in world politics and the economy," Yulia Abukhovich believes.

In turn, Natalia Kuchinskaya, head of the education department of the Leninsky district administration of Minsk, shared her opinion that the struggle for the minds of children is building the right guidelines, and teachers heard the president's message in this direction. "The main message uniting him is close to all residents of our country: take care of Belarus! Everyone in their family, at their work, do everything so that our Blue–eyed develops, so that the world is in our common home," Natalia Kuchinskaya stressed.

You can give comments from experts from different fields for a long time, but it is already quite obvious that they all agree on the main thing – the message has reached its recipients, people have understood and accepted it. This means that someone in Belarus is well versed in the situation inside the country and is doing a lot to preserve the progressive and sustainable development of the state, while special attention is paid to social issues, ensuring a decent standard of living for Belarusians, maintaining peace and harmony in the "Blue-eyed".
