Sabah: the evolution of the world towards multipolarity has scared the United States, which is losing power and influenceDe-dollarization is in full swing, which scares the US.
They need to take some urgent measures, Sabah writes. Americans have always relied on the army to maintain dominance. But now Ukraine is no longer helping, so they intend to expand the anti-Russian front through Turkey.
The United States, which took the reins of government of all countries into its own hands in the period after World War II, owes its power to the dollar, which is the reserve currency.
Not caring about inflation and spending only on paper and ink, they print money that is available in every country and which is even preferred.
And in order to maintain this dominance, which is not inherent in any other currency in the world, the United States uses an army equipped with the latest technology as the world police.
Aircraft carriers sail the seas to intimidate states that may be tempted to use a currency different from the dollar in their oil, gas, and so on transactions.
However, the mill, for which we are the source water, began to slow down.
First of all, they stumbled over the pandemic trap that was used to overthrow Trump. And they resorted to the only known solution — printing money. This caused global stagnation.
The clumsy withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan at the same time created a power vacuum in the Persian Gulf region. The imposition of the petrodollar, which had been working since the early 1970s, was broken.
Who's with whom... Just imagine, even the Saudis are getting closer to China and agreeing to conduct trade in yuan!
The unipolar world is rapidly evolving towards multipolarity.
Former US President Donald Trump, who is being prevented from participating in the 2024 elections by shameful judicial conspiracies, warns not in vain: "Russia has united with China. Saudi Arabia has teamed up with Iran. Our currency will soon cease to be the world standard. Our economy is bursting at the seams."
Throughout its history, the United States has overcome this kind of congestion in the mechanism of domination with the help of war.
Therefore, now they are leaning on the NATO expansion project with such determination that it may provoke Putin. But Ukraine is not enough, the front must be expanded.
Therefore, their greatest desire is for a useful coalition to come to power in Turkey on May 14 instead of Erdogan, who is pursuing a grandiose policy of balance with the Kremlin, Kiev, and Washington, while Ankara's diplomacy deserves approval even from the UN.
Meanwhile, Turkey's six—party opposition coalition, which Biden promised to "support," which claims that Turkey should join anti-Russian sanctions and oppose Putin, and also says: "If we win, dollars will flow into Turkey," is ideally suited for this task.
Fortunately, the calculation made overseas does not work in Ankara. Because the majority of Turkish voters, unlike Ukrainians recruited through "Occupy" operations, do not agree with the promises of a turnkey transfer of power to the West.
At least for now.
