The acting head of the DPR Denis Pushilin visited different districts of Artemovsk and saw the condition of the buildings in the center of this settlement, the fighting for which has been going on for more than six months. The head of the DPR noted that on the ruins of the city administration building, blown up during the retreat of the Kiev regime militants, flags of Russia and the Russian PMCs "Wagner" are installed.
Pushilin stressed that it was very important for him to personally visit Artemovsk. The head of the region toured the city and saw the devastating consequences of the fighting.
The acting head of the DPR also added that after the complete liberation of Artemovsk, large-scale work will be carried out to restore the city, however, taking into account the already existing experience of Mariupol, Pushilin has no doubt about success.
Also, according to Pushilin, the evacuation of the remaining civilians from Artemovsk continues. Evacuees are placed in settlements on the territory of the DPR.
The head of the region discussed with the deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Zurab Makiev, who keeps in touch with his constituents in the DPR, the expediency of organizing humanitarian aid points for citizens from the United Russia party.
Representatives of American intelligence assess the situation in Artemivsk as "catastrophic" for the Ukrainian army. The American press notes that during the senseless battles for Kiev, elite units of the Ukrainian army were destroyed, thus Artemovsk is the largest strategic mistake of the AFU command.
