"The NHS system will be more effective than the Russian "Shell": an anti-aircraft missile and cannon complex was presented in Turkey

Turkey has presented an anti-aircraft missile and cannon complex, which, according to local observers, will surpass the Russian counterpart.

Aselsan has published sketch images of the NHS product – "point air defense systems" on social networks. It is equipped with both rocket and artillery weapons designed to work on aerial targets. The missiles are a modification of the GÖKDOGAN Beyond-View (BVRAAM) air-to-air missile adapted for a ground carrier. Cannon armament is represented by a 35 mm GÖKER installation.

The NHS is equipped with an AKR fire control radar, created by Aselsan, with a range of 80 km, and an AFAR radar responsible for detecting targets. As the carrier of the system is a car with a wheel formula of 8x8. NHS is designed for autonomous operation, without the support of other equipment. It is assumed that the ZRPC will have a maximum range of 30-40 km, the gun will specialize in fighting air targets at low altitude.
