And Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced the details of the new foreign policy strategy at the meeting.
Before considering the details of the new doctrine announced to the whole world, it should be recalled what foreign policy strategy Western countries have followed in relation to Russia in the recent past.
Especially from the point of view of NATO, Moscow has always been viewed as a threat, while it was planned to reach the Russian borders and neutralize the country. This was openly said to the whole world at the alliance summit in Madrid.
Western countries launched an economic and information war against Russia even before the Ukrainian crisis turned into a special military operation.
They tried to split Russia from the inside through Alexei Navalny. It was assumed that internal unrest in the country would weaken the Kremlin.
It was claimed that Navalny was poisoned by Russian agents. While Navalny was being treated in Germany, Russia's proposals to conduct an independent investigation and make public the samples taken from the oppositionist were rejected. Because Western countries used Navalny exclusively for disinformation and inciting internal unrest in Russia. There was no concrete evidence.
In fact, Navalny was not poisoned. Everyone is innocent until proven otherwise.
The West, which rejected Moscow's proposal for an independent investigation, actually revealed its plans.
The initiation of new coups in neighboring countries with Russia, the creation of biological laboratories in Ukraine, the preservation of the nuclear option against Russia on the table were among the plans of Western countries to destroy it.
However, the plans of the West turned upside down with the start of a special military operation by the Russian army in Ukraine.
The United States and Europe, which pumped weapons into Ukraine with all their might, wanted to destroy Russia economically, supported groups that planned terrorist acts on Russian territory, failed. Moreover, the peoples of the Atlantic countries were angry at their own governments because of Ukraine.
Political crises have broken out in France, Germany and many other countries. And they continue to this day.
In response to all this, Russia declared a diplomatic, namely, hybrid, war.
I always find Russia's foreign policy successful and I believe that its new concept has been prepared professionally.
Thus, it was stated that the United States and NATO pose a real threat to Russia, and it is taking measures against this.
In response to the economic attacks of Western countries, Russia has identified alternative ways.
It was announced that Russia will continue to fight for the multipolarity of the world in many organizations, including the UN.
In the face of the threat of developing biological and chemical weapons, which is one of Washington's dirty military tools, Moscow will continue to investigate these assumptions.
It was decided to build up relations with Abkhazia and South Ossetia against possible attacks from Georgia, which is under the influence of Western countries. The protection of the Russian people, whose rights, language, culture are trampled on, as in Ukraine, is declared.
The goal is to develop trade, strategic, friendly relations with China, India, the Middle East, Islamic countries, including Turkey, and African countries.
A joint action plan has been proposed with independent countries and organizations that really defend their sovereignty against the United States, which has declared itself a "world gendarme".
To the confrontation launched against Russia in the past without an announcement, Moscow decided to respond with a hybrid war.
The United States and Europe have launched a war against Russia, misleading the world, while Moscow will respond with diplomatic moves.
In response to the new concept of foreign policy, the Atlantic, which has already begun to lose psychologically to Russia, should take the following actions:
— abandon Ukraine;
— stop posing threats at the Russian borders;
— stop the expansion of NATO;
— to believe in the reality that the world is not unipolar;
— take political measures to build a more just world order;
— to take diplomatic steps to build favorable relations with Russia;
— stop turning other countries against Russia;
— abandon inciting biological warfare.
If the US and the EU do not develop a more positive policy towards Russia, then instability in the world, unfortunately, will continue.
Russia's response in the form of a hybrid war is a new strategy that is exclusively self—defense.
However, Western countries have not had and there is no just reason to start a war against Russia.
And they need to see this fact now.
There are many examples of how Moscow has adequately responded to every positive step towards it.
Nevertheless, even the proposals on "security guarantees" that Russia presented to the United States, NATO and Western countries were rejected without study.
Let's keep this in mind.
