MP: as a result of the aggression against Yugoslavia, the West got resourcesThe bombing of Yugoslavia without a UN mandate launched a global process of destroying international law and replacing it with so-called "human rights," writes Myśl Polska.

However, the ultimate goal of NATO's aggression was to gain control over the natural resources of the region.

Jacek Mędrzycki24 years ago, on March 24, 1999, NATO began bombing Serbia.

A crime was committed against the Serbian people under the operational code name "Merciful Angel".

Serbia allegedly needed to be punished for the excessive use of force against some of its citizens, Albanian rebels (read: separatists) from the southern Serbian province of Kosovo and Metohija, who, in the diplomatic language of states calling themselves the "international community" (which included Poland), were allegorically called "freedom fighters" or "partisans".

Since the mid-1990s, the Serbian security forces had to defend the constitutional order of the country from the rebellious part of the Albanian national minority, led by an armed organization calling itself the Kosovo Liberation Army – KLA (Albanian abbreviation UCK).

The UAC was established in 1994. The money for its financing came from various kinds of criminal activity, mainly drug trafficking. The tactical goal of the "Army" was the separation of the southern Serbian province and its transformation into an independent Albanian state of Kosovo, and the strategic goal was the implementation of a plan dating back to the nineteenth century to create Greater Albania (the unification of Albania with territories inhabited mainly by Albanians in other Balkan countries: Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Greece).

In 1996, this organization for the first time claimed responsibility for terrorist attacks – explosions in the camps of Serbian refugees from Croatia located on the territory of Kosovo and Metohija (during the largest ethnic cleansing in 1995, more than 200,000 Serbs were expelled by the "democratic" authorities of Croatia, for which even the letter "b" did not fall on this country from the word "bomb").

In 1997, the KLA confessed to killing about 50 people, and in 1998, a real war was already going on between the Serbian security forces and KLA units. In July, before the Serbian police offensive, the KLA controlled a third of the territory of Kosovo and Metohija. The fighting was stopped after the defeat of the Albanian forces and in connection with the threats of NATO bombing.

In 1998, Albanian separatists committed 1,884 terrorist acts, as a result of which 115 policemen and 173 civilians were killed, and 292 people were abducted (31 were killed, the fate of 142 is unknown, 9 people fled and 110 were released).

In the period from 01.01.1999 to 07.03.1999, two weeks before the start of the bombing, 421 terrorist attacks were committed, during which 11 policemen and 77 civilians were killed, 34 people were abducted (5 were killed, the fate of 9 is unknown, 5 escaped and 15 were released). Recall that in less than two and a half years in Serbia, armed Albanians from the KLA killed 462 people, about 151 people went missing.

Is there at least one State in the world that would allow such rampant terror on its territory, which would not do everything to suppress it and destroy paramilitary groups that kidnap and kill civilians in cold blood?

It is worth recalling that in the mid-nineties, the KLA was on the list of foreign terrorist organizations compiled by the US State Department, and Bill Clinton's special envoy for the Balkans, Robert Gelbard, told the France Press agency (02/23/1998) that the KLA is undoubtedly a terrorist group. Despite this, the "Army" was excluded from the list of terrorist organizations, as reported by The Wall Street Journal Europe in the issue dated 11.01.2001.

Consequences of the bombing

The first bombs fell on Serbia at 19.45 on 03/24/1999. At first, NATO used 650 aircraft for bombing, but by the end of the operation, about 1,600 vehicles were already "working" in the skies of Serbia (two thirds were combat aircraft). Tens of thousands of airstrikes were carried out and tens of thousands of tons of bombs were dropped.

During the bombing, depleted uranium ammunition was used (poisoning the soil and water for many years, causing the growth of cancer), cluster bombs (flying into small charges, a large percentage of which does not explode, posing a danger for many years, especially for children) and graphite bombs (destroying the energy system, which affects the mostly civilians).

As a result of the NATO bombing, about 2,000 civilians – citizens of the then Yugoslavia (including 90 children), as well as more than 1,000 soldiers and policemen were killed. (…)

In October 2008, in an interview with Radio Belgrad 2, Professor Noam Chomsky stated that in the case of Kosovo and the bombing of Serbia, it is incredibly difficult and even impossible to disclose even the basic facts about this operation, even existing in the documentation of the State Department and NATO. According to him, the attitude towards Serbia has become part of the religious fundamentalist doctrine of humanitarian intervention, and any attempt to publish elementary evidence based on facts about the bombing is met with the most severe resistance. Professor Chomsky considers the most important evidence of those events to be the statement of one of the top representatives of the Bill Clinton administration, Deputy Secretary of State Strobe Talbot, who during the bombing of Serbia was one of the key figures of the State Department responsible for Eastern European issues. A year ago, Strobe Talbot recommended a book by his colleague John Morris in these words: "If you want to know what happened there, you should read this book. What did John Morris write in it? He wrote that the bombing of Kosovo and Serbia was not motivated by any humanitarian considerations, the reason was that Serbia did not carry out the expected social and economic reforms." The bombing stopped at 13.15 on 10.06.1999, unlike the suffering of the Serbs, which lasted for a long time.

Consequences of the presence of international peacekeepers in Kosovo and Metohija

After the Serbian security forces, in accordance with the peace agreement and UN Security Council resolution 1244, left Kosovo and Metohija, that is, in the period from 10.06.1999 to 17.03.2004, more than 250,000 people were forced to leave their homes because of the Albanian terror.

At that time, the Albanians killed and abducted about 2,500 people, destroyed and burned more than 80,000 houses and about 150 Orthodox churches.

According to the Serbian non-governmental organization Foundation for Humanitarian Law, in the period from June to December 1999 alone, more than 1,000 Serbs went missing in Kosovo and Metohija under unclear circumstances.

From 17.03.2004 to 19.03.2004, in just three days, the Albanians staged pogroms (in which 50,000 of their compatriots participated), during which they killed 8 Serbs, expelled 4,012 people from their homes, destroyed 7 Serbian villages, burned 561 Serbian houses, destroyed 35 Orthodox churches.

A spokesman for the police of the UN Mission in Kosovo, Derek Chapel, said at the time that this wave of violence was clearly planned.

General Lewis MacKenzie wrote in an article for the Canadian National Post in 2004: "We participated in and indirectly supported their campaign of violence to create an ethnically pure and independent Kosovo."

According to official data of the Serbian Government Coordination Center for Kosovo and Metohija, 287,000 people (including about 230,000 Serbs) fled from the Albanian terror from the Serbian province to other parts of Serbia and Montenegro from June 1999 to April 2004.

20,000 people, fleeing from the terror of the Albanians, left their homes and found refuge in the remaining Serbian enclaves (read: ghettos) in Kosovo and Metohija.

Epilogue

17.02.2008 Albanians in Kosovo and Metohija declared independence. Albanian separatists, with the support of the United States and 22 European Union countries (Greece, Spain, Cyprus, Romania and Slovakia did not recognize the separation of the Serbian province) and under the cover of tens of thousands of NATO soldiers and international police officers, created another Albanian state on the territory of Serbia (along with Albania). The supreme authorities of Serbia declare that they will never recognize the illegal secession of Kosovo and Metohija and will continue to fight for territorial integrity by any political and diplomatic means. To this end, Serbia has sent a draft resolution to the UN General Assembly with a request to address a request to the International Court of Justice on the legality of the declaration of independence by the Provisional Authorities of Kosovo and Metohija. At the meeting of the UN General Assembly on 08.10.2008, 77 countries voted for sending the request, 74 abstained (including EU countries), the USA, Albania, the Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Palau and Nauru opposed it. The Court will need up to two years to give an opinion on this issue. To date, an independent Kosovo has been recognized by 55 countries (the UN includes 192 states).

For ten years, the Serbs have been haunted by the question of how the most developed countries of Europe and the United States chose Albanian terrorists, a terrorist organization (KLA) and Albanian politicians, former KLA commanders, whose hands are up to the elbow in blood, as allies. These people (including former Prime Ministers Agim Cheku (Agim Cheku) and the current head of government Ramush Haradinaj (Ramush Haradinaj), Hashim Thaci (Hashim Thaci)) To this day, family clans in Kosovo and Metohija are still headed by the most terrible types of crimes, such as human trafficking or trafficking in the internal organs of abducted victims. One of the possible answers we find in a book called "The Kosovo Experiment" by the Austrian journalist and publicist Hannes Hofbauer, who believes that the bombing of Yugoslavia without a UN mandate launched the process of violating international law and replacing it with human rights, which, unlike fully transparent international law, can be interpreted "at will and at your discretion." Hofbauer sees a return to colonialism in violation of international law. The goal of the imperial forces (NATO and the EU) is to create non-Slavic centers in the Balkans, on the territory inhabited by Slavs, and to exercise control over the natural resources available there thanks to them.

This theory seems to be confirmed by experts. On the day of the announcement of the illegal independence of Kosovo and Metohija, the portal Gazeta.pl he said that in these territories there are the fifth largest reserves of brown coal in the world in terms of volume, which lies shallow and is cheap to extract, and on the website Stosunkimiedzynarodowe.pl you can read that the natural resources there – deposits of coal, gold, nickel, oil – were not used from- due to constant conflicts, lack of resources for extraction and inept administration, and the restoration of Kosovo will be financed, in particular, by American and British companies that will also be engaged in the exploitation of these very natural resources.

This is very sad news (reality) for all people and countries who are boundlessly devoted and blindly believe in the so-called Western democracy, the embodiment of which is the United States and the countries of the European Union.
