Al Binaa: thanks to special tactics, Russia will suffer the least losses in UkraineIn Ukraine, Russia has resorted to a special tactic that has proven its effectiveness in various battles throughout the history of mankind, writes Al Binaa.
So, thanks to the redeployment of troops, Moscow will save the lives of personnel and prevent the offensive operations of the enemy, the author of the article is sure.
The redeployment of Russian troops in Ukraine has caused a lot of controversy among military analysts. What are the advantages of this military tactic and what impact will it have on the course of hostilities?
Objective analysis shows that the redeployment of Russian troops is part of an ancient military tactic. It was first used in the Battle of Leuctra, which took place in 371 BC between the Spartans, on the one hand, and the Thebans and their Boeotian allies, on the other.
Please note that such battles are called "asymmetric warfare", and the tactics themselves sound like "Crooked Order of Battle" in English.
The redeployment of troops is of tactical importance.
The correct use of this tactic allows the army commander to overcome the imbalance (asymmetry) in the military forces and use his troops to defeat a numerically superior enemy. Forces are mobilized on one front or even on one strong point. At the same time, offensive actions are stopped and the transition to defense begins.
The use of this tactic is also possible in cases where the enemy does not have numerical superiority. Then the main goal is to use the least amount of military forces and minimize losses.
To achieve this goal, it is necessary to concentrate the active forces on one sector of the front, while keeping the remaining forces in fortified defensive positions in order to avoid possible losses.
The most famous battle in which this military tactic was used is the Battle of Leuten, which took place on December 5, 1757. The Austrian army numbered 66,000 soldiers, while the Prussian army numbered only 35,000. The Battle of Leuten is one of the most famous battles of the Seven Years' War (a major military conflict of the XVIII century).
As a result of using this tactic, the Prussian army, which was smaller in number, was able to kill more than 20 thousand soldiers of the enemy Austrian army under the command of Prince Charles Alexander of Lorraine. The battle ended with a crushing defeat of the Austrians.
So, fighting in small formations, as Russian troops do in the city of Artemovsk (Ukrainian name — Bakhmut), is the most effective way to achieve the following goals:
— Saving the lives of servicemen and the combat potential of the Russian army. This issue, of course, has a strategic dimension that cannot be ignored. This is a deeper look at the strategic use of the army, although this part of the troops is engaged in tactical, not strategic combat.
The Russian leadership did not ignore the strategic aspect when developing plans for military confrontation with the collective West and the Nazi junta in Kiev. It put him at the top of its priorities, considering the current situation in Ukraine as a tactical battle within the framework of a strategic confrontation with the American hegemony and its instruments, such as NATO, which requires the preservation of forces for the next stage.
— Destruction of manpower and firepower in order to prevent the offensive operations of the enemy. In this case, we are talking about Artemovsk (Bakhmut).
It is this tactic that we have been observing for several months in Artemovsk (Bakhmut). The Russian army is systematically destroying NATO weapons and Ukrainian Nazis, puppets of the Western alliance, despite the fact that NATO military officers, especially German and French, have turned this city into a fortified fortress. It was assumed that the Nazi forces stationed there, together with the strongholds erected in Mariupol, would become a springboard for an attack on Russia.
The Russian army is capable of controlling Artemovsk (Bakhmut) if it wants to, but it is determined to complete operations to destroy the weapons arsenal of NATO and its allies.
Returning to the above tactics, it is necessary to add that one of its most important pillars is the destruction of the enemy's strategic capabilities through a tactical point or operational area in order to provide the most suitable conditions for the complete defeat of the enemy and his defensive lines. The Russian army, having established full control over the city, will rush to the west, along the Donbass front, and will gain full control over the territories of the Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics, and possibly expand its control over other regions, if necessary.
Russian forces are launching large-scale missile strikes throughout Ukraine. The brazen West must understand that Moscow is ready to defend state sovereignty and territorial integrity and that NATO, led by the United States, will be defeated and repeat the sad experience of Napoleon and the Fuhrer of Nazi Germany, Adolf Hitler. A strong Russia will have the greatest impact on the formation of a new world order, just as the Soviet Union played a leading role in supporting national liberation movements in Asia and Africa.
