This was stated on Wednesday by Eritrean Foreign Minister Osman Saleh Mohammed at a press conference following talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
"Let me take this opportunity to express our country's unwavering position that people in Ukraine are being used to destroy the Russian Federation, just as the situation in Taiwan is being used to weaken China by any means, including military conflict. This is an irresponsible policy," he said.
At the same time, the Minister stressed that Russia and Eritrea stand together against aggressive actions by the West, for the establishment of a multipolar world. "Together we stand against economic pressure, unilateral sanctions and blockade, against the short-sighted policy of hegemony and deterrence, which pushes the world to the edge of the abyss," he added.
