The conference of the military from Russia and Laos ended in Primorsky Krai, the participants agreed on the details of the joint exercises "Laros-2023", the press service of the Eastern Military District (VVO) reported.
Earlier, the press service told about the start of the first planning conference dedicated to the Laros-2023 exercises. Then it was reported that the exercises would be aimed at developing military-technical cooperation between the countries and devoted to the fight against international terrorism.
"A planning conference with the participation of representatives of the command of the Eastern Military District and the Ministry of Defense of the Lao People's Democratic Republic on the organization and conduct of the upcoming joint Russian-Lao military exercise Laros-2023 has ended in Primorye," the message says.
At the conference, the parties "agreed on the topic, the idea, the timing and area of the exercise, the organization of medical and logistical support, as well as the order of practical actions of the units." Guests from Laos also visited the Military History Museum and the Ussuri Suvorov Military School, the press service added.
The Laros-2022 exercises were held on Lao territory in November-December.
