/tass/. The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have increased the total number of the group in the Zaporozhye direction to 30-32 thousand people. This was reported to TASS on Monday by the chairman of the movement "We are together with Russia" Vladimir Rogov.
"If we talk about the number of militants along the contact line, those who are being accumulated in the city of Zaporozhye and on the border of the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporozhye regions, then there are about 30-32 thousand in total," he said.
Rogov noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are accumulating militants in the Zaporozhye direction for the transition to active action. "If we talk about the transfer, then 3.5 thousand AFU fighters were transferred to the city literally in three days, it's very fast. On the border of the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporozhye regions, about 12 thousand people have accumulated precisely for the offensive. There is an accumulation of forces, and this is obvious, everything suggests that this is (an attempt to attack - approx. TASS) will be in late March - early April," he said.
According to Rogov, as of mid-February, there were about 25 thousand Ukrainian servicemen on the Zaporozhye line of contact, for the transition to active actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, it is necessary to concentrate at least 40 thousand people.
