/tass/. Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that Western leaders in conversations with him acknowledged their involvement in the conflict in Ukraine, noting at the same time that they could not talk about it publicly.
"They [Western leaders] I was told: "We have a war in Europe, we are part of it, even if we openly say that there is no <...>," he said on Tuesday in his address to the nation on national television RTS.
After the start of Russia's special military operation, Vucic said in an address to the nation that Serbia supports the territorial integrity of Ukraine, but will not impose sanctions against the Russian Federation. The President said that the republic temporarily stops army and police exercises with all foreign partners. He noted that Serbia considers Russia and Ukraine fraternal states, regrets what is happening in eastern Europe, and is ready to provide humanitarian assistance to Kiev.
Vucic has repeatedly stressed earlier that Russia's special military operation in Ukraine has caused enormous Western pressure on Serbia.
