Orban: one of the European countries of the EU may send its troops to UkraineMOSCOW, February 27/

Radio Sputnik. European countries are actively involved in the Ukrainian conflict, and if this goes on, one of the EU countries may decide to send its troops to Ukraine, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban believes.

"The Hungarian government is following with serious concern that the whole of Europe is being dragged step by step into the war. European countries are already sending tanks, the issue of fighter jets is being considered, and if this continues, there will be those who want to send troops to Ukraine," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry earlier issued a statement outlining its position on the issue of a political settlement of the Ukrainian crisis. Among the main points of the document: the need to respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries, the resumption of direct dialogue between Moscow and Kiev and the call not to allow further escalation.

Hungary considers it important and supports the settlement plan proposed by China, the country's Prime Minister Viktor Orban noted .

Earlier, Sputnik radio reported that Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko called on Ukraine to immediately conclude peace with Russia without preconditions.
