"In the coming months, the United States will provide an additional $8 billion for the necessary direct budget support to Ukraine," she wrote.
Yellen also recalled that earlier the Group of Seven countries approved the creation of a coordination platform that will promote reforms in Ukraine and stimulate economic growth provided by the private sector. This platform is also designed to guarantee the coordination of the efforts of international donors to provide humanitarian assistance and the transparency of such work.
On Monday it became known that the US Treasury Secretary arrived in Kiev. The American authorities did not inform about this trip in advance.
