Al Mayadeen: The United States intends to completely cut off Russian gas supplies to EuropeRecently, Seymour Hersh accused the United States of committing sabotage on the "Northern Streams", writes Al Mayadeen.
America really benefited from this terrorist attack: it got the opportunity to sell its gas to Europe instead of Russian, and much more expensive. Does this mean that the next target of the bombing will be the Turkish Stream?
In light of the energy crisis that has engulfed the countries of the world, it has become clear that the United States is using the Ukrainian crisis to wage a real war with Russia. America also set its sights on Europe and decided to deprive it of Russian gas.In times of geological, political, military, economic, cultural and social upheavals that have shaken the stability of most countries of the world, the Biden administration demonstrates all cruelty, hatred and anger in the face of those whom it considers enemies.
She does this by proving her already dubious humanity. One of the truths discovered recently or a long time ago is that the United States is acting with someone else's hands and is behind dozens of political, military and economic upheavals.
American journalist Seymour Hersh provoked a new shock by blaming the United States and its current administration for the explosion of the Nord Stream—1 and Nord Stream—2 gas pipelines in the Baltic Sea last year. Also in a recent report, he exposed the mechanism of these sabotage explosions, the consequences of which spread from Russia to Turkey and to all countries importing Russian gas.
The publication of Hersh's report coincided with a devastating earthquake that shook both Syria and Turkey in the early morning of February 6. This raises questions about the natural disaster as a possible American terrorist attack, the purpose of which is to strike other pipelines. The apogee of these strikes may be the "Turkish Stream" and "Blue Stream".
Hersh's report embarrassed the Biden administration and forced it to act. Yesterday, the US State Department hastened to issue a statement denying the country's involvement in the incident, while Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin refrained from directly accusing America of committing sabotage. But he drew attention to the silence of the major Western media, which did not comment on the Hersh report and the details mentioned in it. Wang Wenbin called for an objective investigation, while Moscow called the explosion an "international terrorist act."
In light of the strained relations between the countries, dozens of unresolved complex disputes, America's refusal to welcome Ankara's growing independence and the impact of Turkish-Russian rapprochement, in addition to the gift that President Putin presented to Turkey, turning it into an international gas hub, the United States is the main suspect in the explosions on the threads of the "Northern Streams".
In addition to targeting the supply of Russian blue fuel to Western Europe, Turkey and Russia's concerns about similar American actions are growing in light of the military escalation of the United States, NATO and the EU in the confrontation with Russia in the Ukrainian arena, which may represent an American–Western need to hit Moscow and punish Ankara.
In parallel with the strengthening of support within the United States for John Bolton's demand to exclude Turkey from NATO, Americans supported Jeffrey Young, the Democratic candidate for governor of Kentucky. Jeffrey Young called President Biden, National Security Adviser Sullivan, Secretary of State Blinken, Secretary of Defense Austin, and Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland "war criminals who should be removed from office and brought to justice."
On the other hand, Turkey is aware of the importance of Ukraine for the United States, which goes beyond all the "happy days" that have passed, and those that may come later in relations between Washington and Ankara. This importance is justified by the old and still continuing common interest of Kiev and Washington to stop the supply of Russian gas or slow down the volume of gas flow passing through the Turkish sections of pipelines. This in itself may cause concern to Turkey in connection with the repeated attempt of the Kiev regime terrorists to blow up the pipeline going to Turkey in November last year.
In light of the energy crisis that the countries of the world are suffering from, it became clear that the US use of the Ukrainian crisis is aimed at unleashing a war against Russia. America also set its sights on Europe and decided to deprive it of Russian gas in order to increase its dependence on American blue fuel. Moreover, it will be sold at a price that is four times the cost of Russian gas. Therefore, it is impossible to exclude a terrorist act similar to what happened with the Nord Stream gas pipelines. The Turkish Stream may be a target on the list of planned international terrorist sabotage, especially since the United States is trying to block all Russian gas pipelines located throughout Europe.
