Cumhuriyet: The US is using Ukraine for "dirty work" against Russia"Ukrainians are doing dirty work that America never wanted to do," so Washington should support Zelensky with everything it needs, Cumhuriyet quotes the words of former US Defense Secretary Mark Exper.
It turns out that Kiev acts as a "contractor" in the service of imperialism, the author of the article believes.
Mehmet Ali GullerWhen Russian pranksters Vovan and Lexus play politicians, it often goes beyond a joke and turns into excellent journalistic material with broken confessions.
So, at the beginning of this month, these two played the former White House National Security adviser John Bolton, who said the following about the Ukrainian events: "It is necessary to stop attempts by the French, Germans or anyone else to negotiate with Russia."
And the last "victim" of this duo was the former US Secretary of Defense Mark Esper (Mark Esper).
Contractor: Ukraine
The prankers talked to Esper on behalf of the former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and published important fragments of the conversation on RuTube. The result?
The ex-head of the Pentagon, believing that he is talking to Poroshenko, says the following: "Brave Ukrainians are doing dirty work that we never wanted to do here in the United States, so we must continue to support you with everything we can, be it ammunition, weapons or intelligence."
Esper easily admits this, because the conversation is closed to the public and Ukraine is really doing the "dirty work" of the United States, acting as a contractor in the service of imperialism. In fact, as it is noted from time to time in the West, this struggle did not begin on February 24, 2022, but much earlier, as a confrontation aimed at encircling Russia from all sides.
Hersh: the USA hit the Nord Stream
If we talk about America's dirty work...
As you remember, on September 27, 2022, a sabotage was committed on the Nord Stream gas pipelines intended to transfer natural gas from Russia to Germany. The West shouted in unison that Moscow was to blame. At the same time, in the current situation of military conflict, the question "why should Russia undermine its own pipeline" was rarely asked and hushed up!
On October 1, 2022, I published an article in this column under the heading "The purpose of sabotage on the Nord Stream“ and sent arrows towards the United States. Of course, I relied on the political picture and proceeded from who benefits from sabotage at the level of interstate relations.
An experienced American journalist, Pulitzer Prize winner Seymour Hersh has been working on this topic for some time, addressing the essential facts directly. And so Hersh completed his work and published the result: the Nord Stream pipelines were undermined by the USA itself!
What will the allies do?
In order to drown out the hype raised by Hersh's research, they are now trying to damage the reputation of an experienced journalist and Pulitzer Prize winner: they say, they say, he has aged, he has become a conspiracy theorist...
However, the revealed reality is obvious. Hersh, in an interview with Democracy Now, noted that the consequences of this diversion for the United States will be enormous. Stressing that the US NATO allies also see the truth, although the White House denies this, Hersh admitted the following probability: "We will see the political consequences for us in the long term. Some countries will even withdraw from NATO, because Biden is not so afraid to keep them in the cold — it is much more important to continue a military conflict in which he will not win."
Yes, we have repeatedly written that the United States, while waging war against Russia through Ukraine, is at the same time trying to "educate" its NATO allies, such as Germany and France. Although the probability indicated by Hersh is very low, as the "dirty deeds" of the United States are exposed, of course, the tone of their relations with their allies will also change.
