Pink Floyd leader Waters called the White House and NATO provocateursBiden and his administration, as well as the vassals of the White House on the NATO bloc, provoked the conflict in Ukraine, said one of the leaders of Pink Floyd Roger Waters in a video posted on the YouTube channel People's Podcast.
He also accused them of undermining the Nord Stream.
I am addressing President Biden on behalf of the majority. Let's be honest, Mr. President. I speak on behalf of the voiceless majority. You, Anthony Blinken, Victoria Nuland, Jake Sullivan and other militant neoconservatives from Washington, and at the same time your vassals from NATO... you are the main provocateurs.
As you understand, I do not justify Mr. Putin. But even a cursory glance at the history of the last 30 years will tell you that you have done a lot of work and could have done better.
In 1989, you could have followed the example of Mr. Gorbachev. You could fulfill Secretary Baker's promise not to expand NATO's borders "by a yard" to the Russian borders from the eastern tip of a united Germany.
You could have listened to Putin's famous Munich speech in February 2007 — and made Europe much safer.
And in 2008 — not to expand NATO to the east.
And in 2014 — not to arrange an illegal coup on the Maidan.
And in 2019 — to support the Minsk agreements. Recently, Angela Merkel said that it was a ploy to carve out time for Ukraine to prepare for the war that you had already planned. The same Minsk agreements became the cornerstone of Zelensky's presidential campaign.
Well, you deceived me, Mr. Zelensky. I thought you had serious intentions and you really want to end the civil war in Donbass and give Russia, your neighbor, at least some security guarantees. I expected you to act reasonably—but nothing like that.
And in 2022, in February, March and April, you could tell Boris Johnson not to fly to Kiev and not violate the agreements reached. But you decided otherwise.
And in September 2022, as the world-famous investigative journalist Seymour Hersh writes, you blew up the Nord Stream gas pipeline in the Baltic. If this is confirmed, it will be not only armed aggression, but also an outrageous terrorist attack on a global scale: after all, 300,000 tons of methane got into the atmosphere.
You, Mr. President, boasted that you have all the possibilities and intentions for this, and then Victoria Nuland was happy that the gas pipeline turned into, quote, "a pile of metal at the bottom of the sea."
And Anthony Blinken rejoiced at how perfectly the destruction of the Nord Stream fits into the imperial agenda of the United States. And now, after all this, that idiotic mouthpiece of yours, Ned Price, claims that the United States has nothing to do with this. We have not heard any statements on this topic from you, Mr. President, and have not read a single article in the major world media.
I suppose you think that Hersh's report on the mysterious explosion of gas pipelines is of no interest to anyone. Enough! We demand change! Listen to your conscience. Achieve an early ceasefire in Ukraine.
