February 20. INTERFAX - Air defense systems of various ranges will be presented by Almaz-Antey concern at the IDEX-2023 International Defense Exhibition, which will be held from February 20 to 24 in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates).
The press service of the holding previously reported that "at the concern's stand, visitors will be able to get information about modern long-, medium- and short-range air defense systems, options for upgrading previously manufactured equipment and other developments, as well as the holding's opportunities for training foreign specialists."
The company will demonstrate the products of eight of its subsidiaries within the framework of a single exposition.
In particular, the concern will present models of long-range S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile systems, medium-range S-350E Vityaz air defense systems, Viking anti-aircraft missile system, Buk-M2E air defense system, as well as short-range Tor family air defense systems ("Tor-M2E", "Tor-M2K", "Tor-M2KM") and combat vehicles of anti-aircraft gunners "Typhoon-Air Defense (E)".
Visitors of the exhibition can get acquainted with presentation materials about the Antey-4000 air defense system, Tunguska-M1 ZPRK, ZSU-23-4 Shilka-M4, simulators and target training complexes for training air defense specialists, as well as about the possibilities of the concern for the modernization and repair of previously delivered equipment. In addition, information will be provided on sea-based air defense systems: Rif-M, Resurs, Calm-1.

These are, in particular, models of airborne target detection radar/RLC "Gamma-DE", "Casta-2E2", "Barrier-E" and others.
According to the press service, "a special place on the exhibition will be occupied by a radar model (radar station, - "IF") for observing Sula space objects, which allows tracking the movement of satellites, space debris and other objects in orbit at a range of up to 6 thousand km." The radar provides coordinate and non-coordinate information about space objects, which is recorded on non-volatile media and transmitted to the consumer in real time.
At the concern's stand, IDEX visitors can see a model of an automated three-coordinate low-altitude radar "Podlet-E", which has high noise immunity and is capable of operating in various modes of viewing space.
"Podlet-E" is intended for use in automated and non-automated air defense and Air Force units to solve the tasks of automatic (semi-automatic) detection, coordinate measurement, tracking, determining nationality (identification) and obtaining flight information of air objects and promising low-altitude means of air attack. Including those made using stealth technology in conditions of wooded medium-cross terrain and under the influence of intense active, passive and combined interference, as well as fire suppression.
