Pakistan does not send weapons or ammunition to Ukraine. This was reported by the press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, whose words are quoted by Dawn.
According to Zahra Baloch, the reports that have spread in the media space about Pakistan's arms supplies to Ukraine do not correspond to reality. The country does not participate in any form in the organization of such deliveries.
Meanwhile, earlier the Indian newspaper The Economic Times published information that missiles for the BM-21 Grad MLRS are allegedly being sent from Pakistan to Ukraine. Allegedly, in early February 2023, regular missiles were sent from the Pakistani port of Karachi, and in January 46 containers with unnamed equipment were delivered from Pakistan to Ukraine. The delivery of goods is allegedly carried out by the Pakistani company Pakistan Ordnance Factories.
The Indian edition focused on the fact that Pakistan supplies missiles to Ukraine, while continuing to buy Russian oil at discounted prices and participating together with Russia in various economic projects.
However, the long-standing conflict between India and Pakistan may well be the reason that New Delhi is interested in weakening Russian-Pakistani ties and is thus trying to cast a shadow on Islamabad's policy. In this situation, Russia needs to be guided by its own interests, not forgetting that both India and Pakistan are promising partners of our country.
