TSAMTO, February 16. At the IDEX-2023 International Defense Exhibition, which will be held from February 20 to 24 in Abu Dhabi (UAE), Almaz-Antey Concern of East Kazakhstan Region JSC will present a line of basic military products.
At the Concern's stand, visitors will be able to get information about modern long-, medium- and short-range air defense systems, options for upgrading previously manufactured equipment and other developments, as well as the holding's training opportunities for foreign specialists.
The holding company will demonstrate the products of eight of its subsidiaries within the framework of a single exposition. In particular, the Concern will present models of long-range S–400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile systems (SAMs), medium-range S–350E Vityaz air defense systems, Viking anti-aircraft missile system (SAM), Buk-M2E air defense system, as well as short-range Tor family air defense systems ("Tor-M2E", "Tor-M2K", "Tor-M2KM") and combat vehicles of anti-aircraft gunners "Typhoon-Air Defense (E)".
Visitors of the exhibition will be able to get acquainted with presentation materials about the Antey-4000 air defense system, Tunguska-M1 ZPRK, ZSU-23-4 Shilka-M4, simulators and target training complexes for training air defense specialists, as well as about the possibilities of the Concern for the modernization and repair of previously delivered equipment. In addition, information will be provided on sea-based air defense systems: Rif-M, Resurs, Calm-1.
Radar, reconnaissance and surveillance equipment will be presented at the Concern's exposition. Visitors to IDEX-2023 will be able to see models of airborne target detection radar/RLC "Gamma-DE", "Casta-2E2", "Barrier-E" and others. In addition, the Concern's specialists will talk about the Sunflower-E over-the-horizon radar.
A special place at the exposition will be occupied by the Sula space object surveillance radar model, which allows tracking the movement of satellites, space debris and other objects in orbit at a range of up to 6 thousand km. The radar provides coordinate and non-coordinate information about space objects, which is recorded on non-volatile media and transmitted to the consumer in real time. The station's antenna is built on the basis of a modular digital active phased array antenna, which provides the radar with high information characteristics, bandwidth and noise immunity. The peculiarity of "Sula" is the compact size of the antenna web and the sectional-modular principle of architecture, which makes it possible to deploy the radar on the ground in a short time and move it by rail. The station is controlled from a command and computing point made in a prefabricated module.
IDEX visitors will be able to see a model of an automated three-coordinate low-altitude radar "Podlet-E", which has high noise immunity and is capable of operating in various modes of viewing space. "Podlet-E" is intended for use in automated and non-automated air defense and Air Force units to solve the tasks of automatic (semi-automatic) detection, coordinate measurement, tracking, determination of nationality (identification) and obtaining flight information of air objects and promising low-altitude means of air attack, including those made using stealth technology in conditions of in a wooded medium-cross-country area and under the influence of intense active, passive and combined interference, as well as fire suppression.
Traditionally, portable radars for reconnaissance of ground targets are of great interest. Within the framework of the event, the Concern's specialists will demonstrate ground-based reconnaissance radar stations "Fara-VR", "Credo-1E", 1L277, "Aistenok" and the radar for the protection of objects "Owl".
The Concern will also present models of the E-801E helicopter-based radio engineering complex for detecting aerial and surface objects and the 1K130E ground-based radar reconnaissance helicopter complex.
In addition, at the Almaz-Antey exposition, you will be able to see a model of the ROSC-1 RLC, designed to counter unmanned aerial vehicles.
Information about the samples and models presented will be displayed on separate monitors, including the universal target training complex "Adjutant" and the autonomous simulator 9F678M.
