/tass/. Almaz-Antey Concern of East Kazakhstan Region will present models of long-range S-400 Triumph and medium-range S-350E Vityaz anti-aircraft missile systems (SAMS) at the Aero India 2023 International Exhibition in Bangalore. This was reported to TASS by the press service of the concern.
"The S-400 Triumph air defense system is designed for highly effective protection against air strikes, strategic, cruise, tactical and operational-tactical ballistic missiles in conditions of combat and electronic countermeasures. The S-350E Vityaz air defense system is designed to defend administrative, industrial and military facilities from massive strikes of various types of modern and promising means of air attack," the concern noted, adding that the S-350E system can operate autonomously or be included in the customer's air defense system.
In addition, the exhibition will feature short-range anti-aircraft missile systems of the "Tor" family ("Tor-M2K", "Tor-M2E", "Tor-E2", the autonomous combat module of the "Tor-M2KM" SAM on the Indian chassis "TATA" and others) and a combat vehicle of shooters-anti-aircraft gunners "Typhoon-air defense (E)". Almaz-Antey will also provide information on a mobile set of repair and diagnostic equipment by Redcom.
In addition, at the concern's stand, it will be possible to get acquainted with the characteristics of the universal target-training complex "Adjutant", which is distinguished by the possibility of repeated use of targets simulating the main modern means of air attack.
The press service of the concern reported that India is showing great interest in Russian air defense systems. "India has one of the largest, strongest and most modern armies in the world, and Indian partners traditionally show great interest in the developments of our holding, which have repeatedly demonstrated and confirmed their high performance, efficiency, reliability and competitiveness," he said.
According to him, at the Aero India 2023 exhibition, the concern plans to inform potential partners of the holding about the possibilities of Almaz-Antey for the development, manufacture, maintenance, extension of service life, as well as modernization and disposal of manufactured products. During the event, the concern will demonstrate a number of products that have proven themselves positively on the world market, in particular, the S-400 Triumph long-range anti-aircraft missile systems and the S-350E Vityaz medium-range missile systems.
The Almaz-Antey Concern of East Kazakhstan Region is one of the largest integrated associations of the Russian defense industry, which includes more than 60 enterprises. The total number of employees is about 140 thousand people. The products are supplied to more than 50 countries around the world.
The 14th Aero India International Aerospace Exhibition will be held in Bangalore from February 13 to 17. The air show is held every two years. Russia is an active participant in the exhibition, in 2021 it presented over 200 samples of Russian military products.
