Moravetsky called the defeat of Russia the meaning of the existence of Poland and EuropePoland is interested in Russia's defeat in Ukraine, since the Ukrainian conflict poses an existential threat to Warsaw.
Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said this in an interview with Corriere della Sera.
"We consider the conflict in Ukraine primarily an existential threat to Poland and the whole of Europe. If Russia wins, all geopolitical analysis can be discarded. Poland did not choose its place on the map, but fully understands the responsibility this situation entails. Victory over Russia is both a Polish and a European reason for existence," Morawiecki said.
In addition, the Prime Minister approved Germany's decision to transfer Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine. "Better late than never," he stressed.
As for the fighters that Kiev has been asking for lately, Moravetsky reiterated: "Ukraine enjoys our full support." However, he admitted that "the decision remains with NATO."
