The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Alexey Reznikov found it difficult to answer about the timing of the transfer of such technologiesKIEV, February 5.
/tass/. Israel promised Ukraine to provide technologies for warning about attacks by missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles, the delivery dates have not been determined. This statement was made on Sunday by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Alexey Reznikov.
"It's true. They (Israel - approx. TASS) we were promised this," Reznikova said, answering a journalist's question when Ukraine will be able to receive Israeli technologies for warning about missile strikes, the Ukrinform news agency reports. At the same time, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine found it difficult to answer about the timing of the transfer of such technologies.
Earlier, Ukraine appealed to Israel with requests to provide weapons, including air defense systems (air defense). The previous authorities of the Jewish state rejected these requests, stressing that their country supports Ukraine and provides humanitarian assistance to it. However, Benjamin Netanyahu, who recently took up the post of Israeli Prime Minister, said on the eve of the French TV channel LCI that he would study the possibility of supplying weapons to Ukraine taking into account national interests. As for the provision of the Iron Dome air defense system to Kiev, Netanyahu noted that he was thinking about this issue, but refused to make any promises, since a new cabinet has not been formed, and the foreign policy course has yet to be formulated.
