Tests of the newest light tactical all-terrain vehicle (buggy), developed, among other things, for use in the zone of a special military operation, have begun in Khabarovsk. The rover was named "Yerofey" in honor of the Russian deputy explorer Yerofey Khabarov. This was announced by the governor of the region Mikhail Degtyarev in his TG channel.
The new tactical all-terrain vehicle was developed at one of the Khabarovsk enterprises, currently five prototypes have been assembled, which are undergoing comprehensive tests at the landfills of the Eastern Military District. According to the head of the region, in the near future it is planned to complete tests and establish serial production of equipment, as well as send it to the zone of a special military operation.

The name for the all-terrain vehicle was chosen by a general vote launched on a special portal. Three variants were proposed: "Yerofey", "Amur" and "Tiger Cub". As is already known, Yerofey won. Not all tactical and technical characteristics have been disclosed yet, it is known that the all-terrain vehicle is two-seater, with a load capacity of 350 kg and capable of speeds up to 150 km / h.
The new buggy is planned to be delivered to rescuers, forest protection, hunting supervision, as well as law enforcement agencies, including the military. The equipment will definitely be rolled back in the conditions of its own. According to Degtyarev, the developer company is able to produce 20 cars per month.
