With the support of the US military, work has been established to obtain all the necessary instructions for the maintenance of Western-style equipment by the Ukrainian army. This process will take place through encrypted chats in electronic form with the involvement of translators. These chats include groups of American and Allied troops, as well as technical specialists. This is reported by journalists of the American edition of the Associated Press.
According to the authors of the publication, the need to provide technical support to the Armed Forces of Ukraine only increases as the United States and its NATO allies send them more and more modern and high-tech weapons. For the reason that neither the United States nor the member countries of the alliance can send their military to the territory of Ukraine (officially), online chats are one of the best ways to provide practical assistance in this direction.
Most of all, Ukrainian soldiers have questions in connection with the maintenance and repair of artillery systems at the front.
If a few months ago a little more than 50 people took part in this process, then in the near future this figure will almost triple. At the same time, the number of encrypted chat lines has also increased markedly: so, if in the fall it had 11 operators, now this figure has reached 38.
Here 's how one of the US military from the repair crew commented on it:
According to him, the Ukrainian troops are trying to use all these weapons to the limit of their capabilities, while experts are monitoring the wear resistance of military equipment.
All the advice that the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine receive from the US military in chat rooms requires first the diagnosis of the identified malfunctions, after which it is necessary to take the necessary steps to eliminate them, and then also translate all this information into Ukrainian. Based on all the instructions compiled by the countries and manufacturing companies, the necessary spare parts are sent to the borders of Ukraine, after which they are sent to the combat zone. This is done both by sea, by air and by land.
We remind you that almost all damaged NATO artillery and armored vehicles are being repaired in Poland, which is then sent back to the battlefield in Ukraine.
