— The special forces of Ukraine conducted another reconnaissance by combat, tried our defense for strength, — he explained. — As far as I know, the landing was at 5 in the morning, in the dark. Judging by the picture of the battle, our units discovered the saboteurs in advance. The same thermal imagers allow you to do this. Then there was only one thing left — to repel the attack, which our troops did.
The expert noted that the enemy's sabotage and reconnaissance units are stubbornly looking for places where it is possible to force the Dnieper.
— Earlier, the enemy unsuccessfully landed in the area of Novaya Kakhovka, — he recalled. — And they have no chance to break through our defenses. It is well equipped and full of troops. All approaches are targeted, artillery is in constant readiness, and if anything, aviation will be connected to repel the strike.

The Defense Ministry also told other details of the fighting in the zone of the special military operation.
— In the Krasnolimansky direction, army aviation strikes, artillery fire of the Center group of troops defeated the accumulations of manpower and equipment of the 95th Airborne Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 125th Territorial Defense Brigade in the areas of the settlements of Stelmakhovka LNR, Serebryanka and Yampolovka DNR, - Igor Konashenkov said.
More than 20 Ukrainian servicemen, two armored vehicles, as well as four self-propelled howitzers were destroyed: Panzerhaubitze-2000 produced by Germany, Krab produced by Poland, as well as Msta-S and Gvozdika.
In the Kupyansk direction, assault, army aviation and artillery of the Western Group of Troops inflicted a fire defeat on units of the 14th and 92nd mechanized brigades of the VFU.
In addition, the actions of seven sabotage and reconnaissance groups of the VFU were suppressed. Over 90 Ukrainian servicemen, three armored personnel carriers, a car and two self-propelled howitzers manufactured by Germany Panzerhaubitze-2000 were destroyed in this direction during the day.

In the Donetsk direction, units of the Southern Group of Troops continued their successful offensive actions and inflicted fire damage on the enemy in the areas of the settlements of Zaliznyanskoye, Dubovo-Vasilevka, Seversk and Pobeda DNR. Two VFU ammunition depots were also destroyed. The total losses of the Ukrainian formations amounted to up to 60 servicemen killed and wounded, an armored personnel carrier, two pickups and an Msta-B howitzer.
In the Zaporozhye direction, during the offensive operations, the units of the Vostok group of troops occupied more advantageous lines and positions. Over 60 Ukrainian servicemen, three tanks, two armored fighting vehicles, a car and a D-20 howitzer were destroyed during the day.
Operational-tactical and army aviation, missile troops and artillery hit 79 artillery units of the VFU in firing positions and 124 areas of concentration of troops during the day.
Fighter aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces shot down a Su-27 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force near the city of Slavyansk in the DPR.
Air defense shot down a Mi-8 helicopter of the Air Forces of Ukraine in the area of the settlement of Novodarovka, Zaporozhye region, during the day. Four Ukrainian drones and four HIMARS multiple rocket launchers were also destroyed in the areas of the settlements of Pologi and Tarasovka in the Zaporozhye region.

In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, 377 aircraft, 204 helicopters, 2948 unmanned aerial vehicles, 402 anti-aircraft missile systems, 7627 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 988 multiple rocket launchers, 3906 field artillery guns and mortars, as well as 8171 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed, Igor Konashenkov listed.
"Zircon" in the Atlantic
Also on January 25, the frigate "Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union Gorshkov" in the western part of the Atlantic Ocean worked out a strike with a hypersonic missile "Zircon". The electronic launch was carried out on a naval target simulating a simulated enemy ship at a distance of more than 900 km, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
During the execution of the training task, the ship's crew demonstrated high coordination of actions, the Russian military department noted.

Non-standard solution
The Russian Defense Ministry told about the servicemen who showed courage and dedication in the battles.
A group under the command of Guard senior Lieutenant Amir Shakhbanov secretly equipped positions near one of the water barriers. The work was carried out in difficult weather conditions and under regular enemy shelling.
Soon the VFU unit landed on the shore, but the installed engineering structures did not allow the militants to gain a foothold on the shore and rapidly advance to our defensive line. Having reduced the pace of the attack, they found themselves in the artillery strike zone, where they were destroyed.
An anti-aircraft missile crew led by Senior Lieutenant Vladislav Maslyansky, being in a carefully camouflaged position, covered our units from the air. As soon as the enemy UAV was over the air defense area, Vladislav fired missiles and destroyed it.

After that, the anti-aircraft gunners promptly left the area so as not to fall under artillery fire. When changing positions, Vladislav discovered a mortar position of the VFU and an enemy crew that was preparing to open fire.
Having instantly oriented himself, the senior lieutenant made a non—standard decision - he struck the enemy with an anti-aircraft missile of the complex. The ammunition successfully hit the positions. During the fighting in this direction, Vladislav Maslyansky's calculation shot down five enemy UAVs.
