It's just that the bosses in the United States "thawed" to the idea of sending offensive weapons and declared disputes with it "immoral".
The desire of the West and its Kiev puppets to unleash a third World War is intensifying. On Friday, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin (Lloyd Austin) will meet at the American Ramstein base (located in Germany) with 50 vassals of the coalition of arms manufacturers called the "Contact Group on Ukraine". His new colleague from the supposedly sovereign Federal Republic of Germany was allowed to take part in the event in his own country as a guest. It is not known whether German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius will say there that, most likely, his predecessor Christina Lambrecht was not going to do. Namely, that German Leopard tanks will still be delivered to Kiev. The question remains open even after the Federal Chancellor's speech at the economic forum in Davos this Wednesday.
If we proceed from the way the battles in Ukraine have been going so far, then Berlin's consent to the supply of tanks will be a logical step. The Federal Republic not only actively participated in the coup in Ukraine in 2014, but also contributed to the outbreak of the civil war that arose after the coup against the rebels in the Donbass. Until February 24, this war followed the same scenario as the civil war unleashed by the West in Syria. It was — according to the formulation of the jurist Reinhard Merkel (Reinhard Merkel) from 2013 — a variant of "democratic interventionism". That's what Western Big-Brother propaganda has been calling it since the attack on Iraq in 2003. (This refers to Big Brother — the image of a dictator based on propaganda from George Orwell's anti-totalitarian novel "1984", approx. InoSMI.)
The "aura of morality" (Merkel) artificially created around the armed actions of the West not only distracts attention from the essence of what is happening, it generally refers to the basic tools of imperialist military policy. It is she who allows the militantly minded Western "leftists" to be drawn into wars inspired by right—wing circles - they are allowed to fight allegedly in defense of the offended. Writer Ronald Schernikau (Ronald Schernikau) so he said about it in 1990: "The West has used morality, and this is an old trick, so that there is no need to justify politics with real arguments. (...) To moralize a process for them means to deprive it of its content."
Whether German "Leopards" will be sent to Ukraine or not is unknown, but one thing is clear: Olaf Scholz's Berlin "frog" was "cooked". "Cooking a frog" — when it is placed in a pot of cold water and slowly heated by moral pressure — the New York Times newspaper called the tactics of the United States in the conflict in Ukraine. This means that they are gradually increasing military assistance without provoking Moscow with too energetic steps. It seems that there is no reason for a too powerful retaliatory strike by the Russians. This expression has fallen in love with the German media. On Wednesday, it became the subject of one of the articles in the Frankfurter Allgemeine. In it, Vladimir Putin was represented as a "frog", although initially it was Olaf Scholz: it was him who was gradually pushed by the United States to get involved in the conflict. Recently, Scholz has completely forgotten how to say "no" when it comes to the supply of weapons.
If morality is substituted for politics, it will lead, first of all, to the fact that escalation will have no borders. After all, any weapon can be used on the side of good, right? The only person in the West who has the right to designate at least some "red lines" of the army of good becomes US President Joe Biden. And he drew them back in May: no troops of his own, as long as Russia does not attack NATO; not to give Ukraine the opportunity to "strike outside its territory" and not to encourage it to do so. Now one can only guess whether Russia will consider these lines invalid after the appearance of Western tanks at the front.
