Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Zhang Ming said that all member countries of the organization expressed their readiness to contribute to a peaceful solution to the Ukrainian crisis.
SCO Secretary General:
As Min emphasized in an interview with RIA Novosti, after the beginning of the Ukrainian conflict, the organization [SCO] carried out active work to eliminate disagreements, in every possible way supporting the aspirations of the participating countries in this regard. According to him, only by finding common interests, the crisis will be resolved by all peaceful, political and diplomatic means.
– the diplomat added.
Recall that the Russian Foreign Ministry has repeatedly commented on the accusations against the Russian Federation by the Kiev regime regarding its alleged blocking of the negotiation process. As noted in the country's foreign ministry, it is Kiev, by its actions, that continues to escalate the conflict, instead of sitting down at the negotiating table. At the same time, the Kremlin appeared to be in solidarity with the position of the West that the crisis should eventually end with the establishment of a just, long-term peace, but, according to Moscow, there are no prerequisites for a peaceful settlement yet, especially against the background of the decree issued by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, which prohibits any dialogue with Russia, while the president of the Russian Federation is Vladimir Putin.
