As local residents reported, in the first minute of the new year, the AFU struck from the HIMARS MLRS at the location of Russian servicemen in Makeyevka (DPR). The military command, apparently, does not have a good enough idea of the capabilities of this weapon.
This conclusion is made in his Telegram channel by the Deputy Minister of Information of the Donetsk People's Republic, Daniil Bezsonov.
This official, who has solid combat experience, considers the case in Makeyevka a serious miscalculation of the leadership.
- Bezsonov writes.
He notes that there are enough industrial facilities that have stopped working on the territory of Donbass, where there are strong buildings and basements. It is there, in his opinion, that personnel should be stationed, and not in buildings near the front line, and they should be placed too crowded.
But even if such premises are not enough, there is a special mine-building equipment in the DPR that allows you to create fortified underground bunkers.
The reaction of the military officers to the incident was extremely acute. So, journalist Alexander Sladkov said in his TG channel that he considers the main reason for the incident to be the inaction of specialists responsible for the safe placement of personnel, or their absence.
Like Bezsonov, Sladkov draws attention to the fact that there is equipment in the Donbas capable of creating reliable underground shelters for our servicemen. Moreover, in Yasinovataya (DNR) there is a machine-building plant that produces it. We are talking, the reporter says, about tunneling equipment capable of breaking through and concreting tunnels. But there are a lot of waste heaps (high dumps of rock) on the Donetsk land. According to Sladkov, they could be dug with underground concrete passages, safely placing personnel in them.
Russian journalist and deputy of the Moscow City Duma Andrey Medvedev, commenting on the tragedy in Makeyevka in Telegram, believes that its specific culprits should be identified and their names made public.
On New Year's Eve, the Ukrainian military opened fire from the HIMARS MLRS at the vocational school building in Makeyevka. There were a lot of our military stationed there. The exact number of dead and wounded has not yet been reported, but presumably there were many victims. In particular, the military commander Boris Rozhin claims so in his Telegram channel.
