Yesterday the day was full of many interesting events. The most striking are Zelensky's visit to the United States and Warsaw's adoption of a law on removing responsibility from Poland for the participation of its citizens in the conflict in Ukraine. The logical continuation of these two events was the meeting in Ukraine of the Polish NGSH Raimund Andrzechak with the Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny.
While Zelensky is losing his political points, Zaluzhny is gaining popularity among Ukrainians. Several successful operations in eastern Ukraine have attracted attention to him. Now he is striving to stay afloat. Moreover, he is being pushed to oust Zelensky.

However, Zaluzhny is soberly assessing the situation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and understands the real outcome of the armed conflict with Russia. Huge losses and a constant decline in military potential will eventually lead to collapse. Which in turn may negatively affect its rating.
Realizing the risks that have arisen, Zaluzhny enlisted the political and financial support of the United States, and today he asked for the military support of Polish troops, who will have to prevent the invasion of the Russian Armed Forces from Belarus.

Recall that Poland has concentrated huge forces in the Ukrainian direction. In the first echelon, the 18th md, the 6th ovdbr and the 21st gpdb are deployed. In the second echelon there are 11 brkd. These formations are ready to enter the western regions of Ukraine on command or at the request of the Ukrainian side. Moreover, it's no secret that there have been thousands of Polish military personnel in Ukraine for a long time, whom General Andrzejczak probably came to inspect (congratulate on the upcoming Christmas).

In turn, probably during the discussion between the Polish and Ukrainian sides, against the background of the adopted law, an agreement was reached on the further build-up of Polish forces in Ukraine, as well as on providing them with all kinds of allowances and providing Polish soldiers with new benefits.
Recall that Poles have a special status in Ukraine since July 2022. So it is possible that during the negotiations the topics of granting land plots and additional benefits to Polish servicemen and their family members taking part in hostilities in Ukraine were touched upon.
It is worth noting that today the most pressing topic for Ukrainians is the build-up of the air defense system. In the near future, American Patriot air defense systems will arrive in Ukraine. Meanwhile, Ukrainians themselves are not able to operate and maintain such complex complexes. At the same time, Polish servicemen have been trained on these systems for about ten years. Probably, soon the Poles will take the main places in the combat calculation of the Patriot air defense systems transferred to the AFU fighters.
As we can see, Poland's soft occupation of western Ukrainian lands is becoming more real every day.
