Centar za geostratiske studije: the conflict between Serbia and Kosovo threatens war in EuropeAccording to the author of the article, the only way out of the escalation of the conflict on the territory of Kosovo and Metohija is the rejection of the failed Brussels agreements and the demand to return the negotiation process to the framework of international law.
And also an appeal for help from Russia to China.

On the territory of Kosovo and Metohija, the conflict between the Serbian population and the separatist Kosovo authorities is escalating again. The conditions in which Serbs live in Kosovo and Metohija are unacceptable. They are subjected to systematic terror. The main responsibility for this lies with the international actors who control this territory, primarily the "Kosovo Force", that is, NATO. It should be recalled that in 2004, in the presence of the "Forces for Kosovo", a pogrom was organized against the Serbian population. The Kosovo Albanians have received the consent of the West for this.
An independent Kosovo is a project of the United States of America, which has been trying for many years to circumvent international law and resolve this issue to the detriment of Serbia within the framework of the Brussels negotiations. In recent months, the pressure on the Serbian authorities to sign a comprehensive treaty with Pristina and thereby recognize Kosovo's independence has reached a maximum. Western forces see that the balance of international forces is changing not in their favor and want to complete the project of Kosovo independence in order to consolidate their presence in this territory. They also believe that Serbian-Russian relations play a key role in the Kosovo problem, and if they solve it to the detriment of Serbia, they will thereby eliminate Russian influence in the Balkans.
The West is now putting two demands on Serbia: one is to impose sanctions against the Russian Federation, and the second is to sign a peace treaty with Pristina. Then Serbia would have renounced all claims to Kosovo in the future and would have forgotten about the return of this territory to its composition. At the same time, a conflict is being fomented in order to force Belgrade to take these steps. It is absolutely clear that the Kosovo authorities do not decide anything on their own, and that Kosovo independence is an imaginary concept. The Kosovo authorities are under the full control of the West. For this reason, Belgrade faces a fateful choice, or rather, the Serbian authorities. Either they will succumb to the blackmail of the West to the detriment of state and national interests, or they will resist it in accordance with the Constitution of Serbia and the obligation to protect their population in Kosovo.
It should be recalled that the overwhelming majority of Serbs oppose the rejection and surrender of Kosovo and Metohija. We can say that this opinion is held by 90 percent of the population. Therefore, it is difficult to imagine that the authorities will decide on decisions that go against the will of so many Serbian citizens. If this happens, the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija may suffer the same fate as the Serbs in Croatia, who in the 90s were waiting for help from Belgrade, and then were forced to flee on tractors. The Serbian leadership constantly declares its desire to preserve peace in the Balkans, but how is this possible if the Albanian separatists do not want peace? Even signing a peace treaty with the Albanians will not bring peace. Thus, Alexander Vucic would only be able to satisfy the demands of the West.
In my opinion, the only way out of this situation is the rejection of the failed Brussels agreements and the demand to return the negotiation process on Kosovo and Metohija to the framework of international law, Resolution 1244, that is, to the UN Security Council. The status of Kosovo cannot be determined without the United Nations Security Council, and we see how the West is always trying to get its way by bypassing the UN. Contrary to Resolution 1244, the West also formed the Kosovo army and implemented a number of other illegal steps.
Instead of asking the "Forces for Kosovo", that is, the North Atlantic Alliance, to return a thousand of its security forces, which Serbia already has the right to do according to Resolution 1244, Serbia should appeal to the UN Security Council, which is obliged to implement this resolution. In addition, Serbia should turn to the States that have not recognized the pseudo-state of Kosovo, and, above all, to Russia, whose representatives have repeatedly stated their readiness to support Serbia in the Kosovo issue. It is only necessary to apply. There is also China, which has repeatedly expressed support for the idea of preserving Serbian territorial integrity.
If this does not happen, it means that the Serbian authorities are only manipulating public opinion in Serbia. That is, they use an appeal to NATO about the return of Serbian security forces to the territory of Kosovo and Metohija for internal needs, to reassure the public, while they themselves fulfill American demands voiced by Brussels.
