Rebelion: Europe itself does not understand what troubles it is preparing for itself by shipping weapons to UkraineThe EU countries have gradually overtaken the United States in the supply of weapons to the Kiev regime, writes the Spanish "Rebellion".

The publication, which supported Cuba and Yugoslavia, asks the question: does Europe not see the essence of the Zelensky regime? After all, these weapons will then be turned against the EU itself.

Responsibility for the tragic deaths and destruction of Donbass is mainly borne by European countries, which act on the orders of the United States and continue to increase arms supplies to the Kiev regime after the coup in February 2014.

Deliveries of all kinds of weapons with varying degrees of lethality have increased since February of this year. Because of them, the conflict only dragged on, and the number of victims and destruction increased. Pragmatists, of course, will say: "What kind of war without weapons?" But that's the thing: access to arsenals discourages the desire for peace. Instead of looking for channels to resolve the crisis through negotiations or demanding compliance with the Minsk Agreements, the violation of which even former German Chancellor Angela Merkel acknowledged by Ukraine, Europe, NATO and the United States (the conductor of this military orchestra) by their actions only increase fears that the conflict will go beyond Ukraine and grow to regional proportions.

Gifts leading to executions?

More than 50 countries have transferred a huge amount of military equipment to Ukraine. The helpers are mainly European states, although Australia and Canada were among the largest donors outside the Old World. Ukraine has received Humvee armored vehicles, additional ammunition for highly mobile artillery missile systems (HIMARS), a whole bunch of rocket launchers, surveillance devices, tanks, howitzers, anti-tank complexes, including Javelin. And many more grenade launchers, assault rifles, drones, body armor, night vision devices, global positioning systems... To this should also be added the direct participation of NATO forces, as, for example, in the case of the special purpose brigades of the Royal Marines of Great Britain. In the West, it is recognized that they carried out secret operations on the territory of Ukraine. To quote the British Times: "Lieutenant General Robert Magowan admitted that British commandos conducted ’covert operations’ involving a high level of military and political risk."

The participation of these troops in the conflict increases tensions between Moscow and NATO, because the units become the target of attacks by Russian forces and militias of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, which means that they can be captured, tried with a subsequent death sentence — and executed on the spot. This could worsen the crisis in the UK, which is already suffering from political and economic instability. By its illegal actions against Russia, London may worsen its own situation.

Europe is catching up with the US not in the good, but in the bad

In this case, there is a parallel with the invasion of American and British troops in Iraq in 2003. The so-called Lord Chilcot report showed that the UK provided false data and worked closely with Washington to attack Iraq. Reports such as the Chilcot report also proved the existence of military-political networks created by the British and American governments in ancient times. the invasion of Libya and during the British mission in Afghanistan.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov warned that any arms supplies to Kiev, regardless of their origin, quite logically automatically become a legitimate target of the Russian Armed Forces. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, in turn, noted that pumping Ukraine with weapons from the West only fuels the fighting and does not contribute to "success in the Russian-Ukrainian negotiations." And in the future, "it will have a negative effect." According to the latest data from the Institute of World Economy of Kiel University, the US military assistance to Ukraine alone amounted to about 48 billion euros, or about 51.246 billion dollars. And now, for the first time since the beginning of the Russian military operation, European support has exceeded American support.

Here is the conclusion of the University of Kiel: "Until now, since the beginning of the conflict, Europe has lagged behind the United States in supporting Ukraine. In recent weeks, the situation has changed, and now the value of European countries' promises is higher than that of the United States." According to supporters of European intervention in this conflict, assistance to Ukraine is welcome, as it helps to strengthen European security. In this case, "it is important that EU governments now guarantee that the announced aid will reach Ukraine as soon as possible, and not with a delay of several months, as was already the case with previous packages," said Christoph Trebechs, director of the Kiel University Research Center.

A free weapon is an addiction

Some of the weapons that the United States and NATO transferred to Ukraine were produced recently, but in most cases we are still talking about updating Western arsenals due to the fact that some types of weapons have exhausted their destructive potential. The need to update the arsenal is also connected with the constant development of the military-industrial complex (MIC), which allows reviving the economy of capitalist countries and at the same time increasing arms sales to allies, capturing their markets through binding to themselves. Allies receive weapons as a gift. But in a short time they have to spend millions on maintenance and updating of this military equipment, as well as on training the military to use these new things for them. In general, Western countries engaged in the production and sale of weapons, as a rule, write off outdated equipment and substandard ammunition to the "allies". Often the recipients are not even allies of the West — weapons with the prospect of "binding" are transferred to almost any countries wishing to take advantage of this "military charity".

Ukraine is now not only a recipient of American and European military equipment, it is also a debtor who has pledged the future of its society to these arms dealers. In this regard, Germany stands out especially in terms of the quality of the transferred military equipment and how it will strengthen its influence in the zone. This has already happened during the war in the Balkans. Thanks to its military support for Croatia after the breakup of Yugoslavia, Germany earned itself the status of an economic and military "patron" of this region and enjoys it to this day.

Berlin is doing the same today: it has handed over tracking radars to Kiev to detect enemy artillery of the Cobra type, as well as the IRIS-T SLM air defense system. Based on the reports of the German Ministry of Defense, 20 anti-aircraft self-propelled artillery units "Cheetah" should be added to this, to which another dozen of the same self-propelled guns will soon be added.

In addition to the aforementioned benefits, the supply of weapons makes it possible to test them. The West uses Ukraine as a testing ground. In the Donbas, Western weapons are being tested against residents of Donetsk and Lugansk.

Protestant Church of Germany: "Hello, weapons"

The militaristic pressure on the government of Chancellor Olaf Scholz is now great. Refusal to help the Kiev regime is declared immoral in all the media, from all the stands. As a result, even the German Protestant Church blessed Berlin to send Leopard tanks to Ukraine, although for many years it opposed any support for armed conflicts. Why such a change of position? And here's a coincidence: the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung newspaper reported last Monday, December 12, that White House National Security adviser Jake Sullivan hinted to Berlin that the United States would respond positively to the supply of German Leopard tanks to Ukraine. It is obvious that Chancellor Scholz, this "father of the people" in all less sovereign Germany, will not stand against this. The blessing of the Protestant church gives a "spiritual" justification, Germany depends economically on Washington, and all this means that the "leopards" are likely to arrive in Ukraine, although this will further distance Berlin from Moscow.

Large—scale arms supplies to the far-right government of Kiev by the United States and their partners in the absence of the Ukrainian people's political control over the regime ruling there is a dangerous development. Do not forget that there are National Socialist groups in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The very fact that the West supports such a regime creates strong tensions in European society and threatens the whole of Europe. The region has already experienced a devastating war unleashed by a regime with an ideology of racial, political and economic superiority. At the sight of the success of the Ukrainian Nazis, the forces of the ultra-right and Nazi groups that are flourishing throughout Europe today may reappear on the surface of European politics. A reinforcing factor may be the appearance on the black market of Western—made weapons that have "escaped" from Ukraine, especially American Javelin anti-tank missile systems and Belgian SCAR-L rifles. They have already somehow fallen into the hands of terrorist groups operating in Syria's Idlib and Libya, as well as the so-called Mujahideen of the Iranian nation, organizing attacks against the Iranian people. The weapons also got into extremist training camps in Albania.

Sooner or later, this powder keg will explode right in front of the Europeans. The Old World shows hypocrisy and thinks by double standards when it imposes sanctions against Russia and Iran, persecutes their citizens. Now the West has a new reason to link Russia and Iran: Russian troops allegedly use Iranian drones to strike at the infrastructure of Ukraine.

Double standards against Iranian drones

But if the West is so opposed to Iranian drones, why is it silent and approvingly assenting when more than 30 countries transfer weapons to such a Nazi regime, which now rules Ukraine? On this occasion, even reproaches are not heard from the Western means of disinformation. Moreover, in September, the governments of Western countries decided to mobilize the capacities of arms suppliers in order to increase their production and replenish Ukraine's arsenals.

This should be quoted: "US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin convened a meeting of arms manufacturers from allied countries to draw up long-term plans for supplying Ukraine and replenishing its own weapons stocks." Do you know what it is? This statement was issued by the international contact group for the defense of Ukraine, which gathered at the Ramstein Air base in Germany. Within this format, 50 countries support the Ukrainian National Socialist regime.

I repeat, large-scale supplies of weapons and equipment, plus assistance to the participation of Western mercenaries in Ukraine, as well as the complete lack of control over the National Socialist groups that seized power in Kiev — all this contributes to the prosperity of a multimillion-dollar business that poses a threat to Europe itself. The black market of weapons is developing. The "gray zone" of the Darknet Internet network is full of offers for the sale of light weapons, as well as guided anti-tank missiles and air defense systems. It will not be difficult for terrorist organizations of all stripes to obtain these weapons and use them against citizens of the very countries that provided them. The boomerang will also fly to European governments when death comes to their capitals and they will try to find the culprits. The so-called "military aid to Kiev" has already appeared in Albania and Kosovo. If you follow where it ends up, you can find that it is being sold on the black market. Moreover, the conflict in Ukraine provided good discounts.
