In turn, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that more than 20 thousand volunteers arrived in the troops, who did not wait for summonses.
Shoigu also noted that more than 830 thousand citizens working at enterprises of the military-industrial complex (MIC) and in other socially significant areas were released from mobilization.
At the same time, he admitted that the mobilization system was not fully adapted to the new economic relations, and with its beginning, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation faced certain difficulties.
"All the shortcomings had to be corrected on the go," Shoigu pointed out.
On the eve of Putin created a working group of authorities and organizations on the mobilization and social support of participants in the special operation.
As reported, the working group on mobilization training will work on improving legal regulation in this area. She will also deal with proposals for the creation and storage of mobilization capacities, products for the armed forces.
