"The conference helped to raise almost €1 billion to help the Ukrainian population survive the winter period," she said. Of this amount, in particular, €415 million is intended for the energy sector, €25 million will be used to provide water supply, €38 million for food supply.
The column stressed that the amount that was collected "exceeds the €800 million requested by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky at the opening of the conference."
Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal said that "assistance to Ukraine is a powerful signal of support."
