Azerbaijan will assist Ukraine in restoring the energy system affected by Russian missile strikes. To do this, Baku sends Kiev the necessary electrical equipment for repair. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic.
On Saturday, December 10, Azerbaijan sent the first part of the aid to Ukraine. Several trucks with 45 transformers and a batch of generators in the amount of 50 units left the territory of the Gobu power plant and headed towards Ukraine. As explained in Baku, the second part of the necessary electrical equipment will be sent to Kiev in a few days. As it is emphasized, the assistance was provided in response to the appeal of Kiev.

In total, Azerbaijan will send $800,000 worth of electrical equipment to Ukraine.
Meanwhile, Zelensky recorded a new video message in which he stated about the difficult situation with electricity supply in the Odessa region, as well as almost all over the country.
