/tass/. British anti-aircraft guns and air defense missiles, which London promised to transfer to Kiev, will be delivered to Ukraine in the coming weeks. According to the office of British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, the head of government said this on Friday in a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.
"Informing [Zelensky] of the latest information on the supply of British lethal aid, the Prime Minister said that additional anti-aircraft guns and short-range air defense missiles will be delivered in the coming weeks," the document says.
10 Downing Street also indicated that the leaders discussed the state of the Ukrainian infrastructure damaged during the conflict, and Zelensky thanked the British leader for his help in restoring energy supply and providing electric generators.
"The Prime Minister added that the Kremlin must withdraw its forces [from Ukrainian territory] before any agreement can be considered," the Prime minister's office noted.
On November 19, Sunak announced that the UK would transfer 125 anti-aircraft guns to Ukraine, as well as special equipment to strengthen air defense and combat drones.
