Eight armored vehicles, five cars and more than 100 Ukrainian servicemen were destroyed during loading, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on November 28. Experts note that strikes on railway junctions in the enemy's rear facilitate the actions of our units on the line of contact in the zone of a special military operation. Also on Monday, the Russian Armed Forces repulsed several enemy attacks in important strategic areas.
Strikes on logistics hubs
On November 28, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the aerospace forces had struck the Moiseyevka station in the Dnipropetrovsk region. It is located near Krivoy Rog. High-precision weapons managed to hit the accumulation of manpower and military equipment of the 17th Tank Brigade of the VFU during loading on railway transport.
Eight armored vehicles, five cars and more than 100 Ukrainian servicemen were destroyed. The local Ukrainian authorities acknowledged the fact of the destruction of the transport infrastructure and reported that the railway traffic in Krivoy Rog was completely stopped for a long time.

Such strikes on railway junctions affect the situation directly on the line of contact, military expert Vasily Dandykin told Izvestia.
— A malfunction in the movement of trains makes it difficult to bring personnel, military equipment, ammunition and other equipment, — he explained. — Such strikes prevent the Ukrainian forces from regrouping, taking equipment for repair to the rear and to European countries, bringing ammunition to the line of contact. The logistics of the Ukrainian forces is already seriously hampered by problems with the power supply of the railway and the use of ammunition of Soviet and NATO standards. Broken railway junctions complement this picture.
Attacks repulsed
On November 28, the Russian armed forces continued fighting in the zone of a special military operation.
— In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy, using the forces of two company tactical groups, attempted to attack Russian positions in the direction of the settlement of Kuzemovka of the Luhansk People's Republic. As a result of the fire damage inflicted, the attacks were repelled, the AFU units were thrown back to their original positions in the area of the Berestovoye settlement of the Kharkiv region," said the official representative of the Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov.
According to him, during these battles, more than 50 Ukrainian servicemen, one tank, two armored personnel carriers and a pickup truck were destroyed.
In the Krasnolimansky direction, two company tactical groups of the VFU, which were advancing for the offensive, were defeated. As a result of the fire damage, the enemy units were dispersed. More than 30 servicemen, two armored vehicles and three pickups were destroyed.

In the Artemivsk direction, the enemy, using the forces of four company tactical groups, tried to counterattack in the direction of the settlements of Belogorovka, Bakhmutskoye, Yakovlevka and Ivangrad in the DPR. The VFU units were stopped and dispersed. Up to 80 militants, one tank, three armored fighting vehicles, two pickups and a car were destroyed.
Two VFU counterattacks were reflected in the South Donetsk direction. Over 50 Ukrainian servicemen, two armored fighting vehicles and an infantry fighting vehicle were destroyed during the day.
Operational-tactical, army aviation, rocket troops and artillery hit eight enemy control points, two ammunition depots, 57 artillery units in firing positions and 124 areas of concentration of troops during the day.
Air defense systems shot down seven drones and two HARM missiles in the area of the settlement of Novaya Kakhovka in the Kherson region during the day.
In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, 333 aircraft, 177 helicopters, 2572 unmanned aerial vehicles, 390 anti-aircraft missile systems, 6866 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 904 multiple rocket launchers, 3624 field artillery and mortar guns, as well as 7395 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed, Igor Konashenkov listed.
Dangerous flight
The Russian Defense Ministry told about the servicemen who showed courage and dedication in the battles.
Major Denis Chernyakov's unit gained a foothold in the territory of an important strategic object during the fighting. Being on the defensive, Denis, along with a comrade-in-arms, found militants in the forest belt. The soldiers suddenly attacked them, destroying the entire group. They also captured the enemy's car. As a result, the VFU could not take an important object and retreated.
A few days later, Denis was correcting artillery fire. Retreating, the militants fired at our troops. As a result, some of the fighters were injured. Denis helped them and took them out of the battlefield, after which, being wounded himself, he continued to adjust the fire. Thanks to Denis Chernyakov, several enemy military facilities were destroyed by artillery fire. This forced the enemy to retreat.
Lieutenant Ivan Meshcheryakov's unit defended one of the key settlements. During the enemy attack, Ivan ordered the drone operator to adjust the artillery fire and took the tanks to pre-prepared lines to strike from closed firing positions.

During the battle, Ivan's unit promptly and accurately transmitted the coordinates of the enemy to the command post. As a result, three tanks and four infantry fighting vehicles were struck.
The militants retreated and tried to gain a foothold in the nearby forest belt, but were destroyed by the targeted fire of our artillery and tanks.
"Thanks to the timely and competent actions of Lieutenant Ivan Meshcheryakov and his subordinates, it was possible to defeat the enemy," the Defense Ministry said.
Private Alexas Rudzinskas delivered cargo to areas located in the immediate vicinity of the line of contact. During one of the flights, the column where Alexas was traveling came under artillery and mortar fire.
Having got his bearings in a difficult situation, Private Alexas brought his car with ammunition out from under enemy fire. This helped to replenish the ammunition of Russian units in a timely manner. During the special military operation, Alexas made more than 20 flights, delivering more than 100 tons of important cargo to the positions.
