The New York Times reported that two-thirds of NATO countries have exhausted the ability to supply weapons to the Ukrainian sideMOSCOW, November 27.

/tass/. The Russian military attacked the locations of the so-called Foreign Legion on the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic, and also destroyed an ammunition depot for HIMARS multiple rocket launchers near the city of Dnipro. This was told on Sunday to journalists in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

In addition, nine more people returned to Russia from Ukrainian captivity, railway traffic stopped in the Krivoy Rog area after the explosions, and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky held a meeting in Kiev dedicated to the launch of the Grain from Ukraine program.

TASS has collected the main events in and around Ukraine over the past two days.

The Russian military destroyed a warehouse near the Dnieper River, where more than 100 shells for HIMARS multiple rocket launchers and over 7 thousand large-caliber ammunition of foreign production were stored, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on Sunday. On Saturday, the department reported the destruction of an ammunition depot for HIMARS near the village of Kushugum in the Zaporozhye region.

In addition, Russian aircraft struck at the temporary deployment points of the so-called Foreign Legion in the Chasov Yar area on the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic. According to the Ministry, the losses of the Ukrainian side amounted to up to 100 people killed and six armored vehicles.

The Russian Defense Ministry announced the repulse of Ukrainian attacks in four directions - Kupyansk, Krasnolimansk, Donetsk and Yuzhno-Donetsk. As a result, Kiev lost a total of almost 400 people and 50 pieces of equipment, including six tanks, according to the ministry.

On Saturday, nine more Russian prisoners returned from the territory controlled by Kiev, the Russian Defense Ministry reported. As specified in the department, they will have treatment and rehabilitation in Moscow.

This is the third prisoner exchange in a week: on November 23, the Ministry announced the release of 35 people, and on the 24th - the return of 50.

Power and water supply have been almost completely restored in Kiev, the city military administration said on Sunday. Eyewitnesses told TASS that heating, water and light appeared in most houses. Nevertheless, in the morning, power outages were introduced in the Ukrainian capital.

In addition, on Saturday, the office of the President of Ukraine announced the restoration of electricity supply to Kherson, which came under Kiev's control after the withdrawal of Russian troops in the region to the left bank of the Dnieper.

In the Kryvyi Rih district of the Dnipropetrovsk region, railway communication has been stopped due to "significant destruction," local authorities said.

The largest Ukrainian energy company DTEK on Saturday reported that the electricity deficit in the country has decreased from 30% as of Friday morning to 25%. Zelensky later said that in 14 regions of Ukraine and Kiev there are still restrictions on the supply of electricity.

An international meeting was held in Kiev on Saturday, timed to coincide with the launch of the Grain from Ukraine program, which Zelensky proposed in his address to the leaders of the Group of Twenty in mid-November. The President of Ukraine expects that every month Kiev will send at least 10 ships with food to the countries of Africa and Yemen. According to Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal, the government has already agreed to send 125 thousand tons of grain to Yemen, Kenya, Nigeria and Sudan.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin repeatedly drew attention to the fact that most of the food sent from Ukraine under the so-called grain deal does not reach the poorest countries.

At the meeting in the Ukrainian capital, Zelensky also took the initiative to create a new international organization "to respond to global threats" of various types and place its headquarters in Kiev or Odessa.

Kiev's support is expensive for residents of Western countries, but it needs to be increased, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said in an interview published on Sunday with the German newspaper Welt am Sonntag. According to him, "the best way to support the world is to support Ukraine."

At the same time, two-thirds of NATO countries have exhausted the ability to supply weapons to the Ukrainian side, The New York Times reported, citing representatives of the North Atlantic Alliance. According to the interlocutors of the publication, countries such as Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and France, in particular, have retained the potential to continue deliveries. At the same time, a particularly difficult situation with weapons stocks has developed in Poland and the Baltic states.
