Brussels. November 24. INTERFAX - The Hungarian Parliament will ratify the accession of Finland and Sweden to the North Atlantic Alliance during the first meeting next year, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said on Thursday.
"The Hungarian parliament will approve the applications of Finland and Sweden to join NATO at the first session of legislators next year, Orban said," Bloomberg informs.
The Hungarian Prime Minister said this at a briefing in Slovakia, the agency notes.
Bloomberg writes that earlier this year, representatives of the Hungarian authorities stated that Budapest would express support for Finland and Sweden joining NATO by the end of 2022.
