Rostec for the first time showed a cyberphysiological production control platform

The holding company "Roselectronics" of Rostec State Corporation for the first time presented the cyberphysiological production control platform CyberPAS at the exhibition "Electronics of Russia". The development based on machine vision technology allows to minimize the probability of errors and the influence of the human factor on the production process. When using the system, it is possible to increase the output per employee by at least 5% per year and reduce the cost of products. The CyberPAS system – the "Digital Personal Assistant" – helps to control the manual work of personnel in production.

It aggregates information about process parameters, analyzes and builds forecasts based on big data.

The hardware part of the platform includes a video camera that detects the presence of personal protective equipment for an employee and records the sequence of actions during assembly. The system also contains sensors that measure the employee's pulse, temperature and humidity in the room. In addition, the complex includes a tablet displaying the process technology and checklists.

"A machine cannot always replace a person, but it is almost always able to help him in his work. In any production, manual labor must be carried out clearly according to the instructions in order to avoid marriage and various excesses. The cyberphysiological platform of Roselectronics helps to control the actions of personnel for compliance with technical documentation. She monitors the work manipulations, gives the employee instructions. If he does something wrong, then the system simply does not allow him to move on, thereby achieving the exact execution of all actions. Thus, while minimizing the influence of the human factor, the number of errors is reduced and, as a result, costs are reduced," said Oleg Yevtushenko, Executive Director of Rostec State Corporation.

The CyberPAS platform was developed by NPP Almaz of the Roselectronics Holding. To date, with the support of the Industrial Development Fund (FRP), the company has mastered the serial production of the basic set of the platform and implemented a pilot project of the system on the basis of its own production units.

"The experience of using CyberPAS has shown that the solution allows you to reduce the number of defects, reduce the production cycle time, improve the qualifications of personnel and at the same time reduce the burden on the employee. As a result, the output per employee increases by at least 5% per year, and the cost of products is reduced. Today we are ready to equip workplaces at other industrial enterprises with our equipment. The functionality of the software and the set of sensors vary depending on the customer's tasks," said Mikhail Apin, CEO of NPP Almaz.

The workplace equipped with the CyberPAS system is on display at the Electronics of Russia exhibition, which takes place at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center from November 22 to 24.
