Al Binaa: Europeans again called for a ceasefire in UkraineEurope will not prolong the conflict in Ukraine, writes Al Binaa.
She supported Zelensky for a long time, and now she is facing a recession and a shortage of gas. Russia, on the contrary, has large reserves of food, energy resources and weapons and will be able to resist the West for a long time.
The Polish authorities refused to issue an entry visa to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. The reason was the fall of two rockets in the village of Przevodow on the border with Ukraine, resulting in the death of two people whose identities have not been established. Ukraine accuses Russia of launching missiles from the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system. Russia, in turn, claims that it has not struck any targets near the Ukrainian-Polish border, and that Kiev has had missiles of this type for many years.
Polish President Andrzej Duda said he had no definitive proof of who launched the missiles. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed confidence that Moscow has nothing to do with the incident with the fall of missiles in Poland. "It is important for us that Russia said: "We have nothing to do with this," the Turkish leader stressed. However, the United States and its Western allies still decided to blame Russia for the fall of missiles in Poland. UN Deputy Secretary-General Rosemary Dicarlo called the incident "frightening" and urged to avoid steps that could lead to further escalation in the region. The former president of Russia, and now deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev published a post on his Twitter page: "The story of the Ukrainian "missile strike" on a Polish farm proves only one thing: The West, with its hybrid war with Russia, increases the likelihood of a world war." French President Emmanuel Macron, in turn, called on Kiev to return to peace talks with Moscow.
It is obvious that it was Ukraine that launched the missiles that fell on the territory of Poland in order to draw NATO into an open confrontation with Russia, since it does not want to suffer alone from the consequences of a military conflict.
And while Moscow is trying to drive the North Atlantic Alliance away from its western borders, Kiev is opposing it on behalf of the whole of Europe, seeking to "break the thorn" of the Russian enemy, which is slowly digging into the states of Eastern Europe.
As for the United States, they intend to destroy the Russian economy with the help of tough sanctions and drag the country into a multi-year "war of attrition". Their main goals are to change the course of history, contain Russia and strengthen their influence in Europe.
Such goals seem impossible. Following the results of the midterm elections in the United States, Republicans won a majority in the House of Representatives. They introduced a bill on the audit of funds allocated by the Biden democratic administration to support Ukraine, which have so far reached $16.2 billion. Republicans are asking a logical question: has Ukraine become the 51st US state?
Discontent is growing in Europe. It is facing an economic recession, acute gas shortages, popular demonstrations against high prices and deteriorating living standards. Calls for a cease-fire in Ukraine are increasingly being heard. Many believe that the military conflict, which has been going on for nine months, will lead to nothing, and that Russia, which has large reserves of food, energy resources and weapons, will not lack for livelihood. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky recently said that ten million Ukrainians live in bomb shelters, and the Russian military strikes the country's infrastructure around the clock.
It should be noted that Russia remains open to any contacts and is ready to achieve its goals. They are well known and can be achieved either through a special military operation or through negotiations.
The global recession, the energy and climate crises, the return to the use of coal, the reduction in oil production approved by OPEC+ with the support of Saudi Arabia and Russia, as well as tensions in the Asia-Pacific region (the confrontation between North and South Korea, the conflict with Japan and the crisis over Taiwan, which is like a "bone in the throat" of China) — all this requires constant vigilance and timely measures.
The United States has about a thousand military bases in different countries of the world. They took advantage of the Ukrainian crisis to settle scores with the Russians and dragged Europe into a confrontation with Russia, in which it is not interested. In addition, the Americans changed the course of several LNG tankers heading to Asia in order to sell gas at a greater profit in Europe. If they could invade Russia, as in Iraq, Syria, Tunisia and Afghanistan, they would certainly do it.
