Neither at the discussions at the summit nor in the final declaration was it possible to reach consensus. The rivalry between the Global North led by the United States and the Global South led by Russia, China and Turkey left an imprint on the summit.
In addition to Germany, Great Britain, Italy, the European Commission, as well as Canada, Australia, Japan, South Korea, no one supported the war launched by the United States against Russia with the hands of Ukraine.
The countries of the Global South, such as Argentina, Brazil, China, Indonesia, South Africa, India, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, rejected all the demands imposed by the Global North led by the Anglo-Saxons.
In the communique of the two-day summit, consisting of 52 points, the emphasis was placed on the fact that "today's era should not be an era of wars." The statement highly appreciates the agreement on the grain corridor, which put an end to the global food crisis, and contains the following phrase: "We welcome the Istanbul Agreement reached through the mediation of Turkey and the UN. We emphasize the importance of its full, timely and continuous implementation by interested parties."
Thus, the United States, whose project to encircle and isolate Russia has failed, tragically worries about the fact that they are not able to completely win over even their European allies against Moscow, not to mention China, India and Turkey.
Now the United States and its allies are looking for ways to reconcile with Russia through Turkey and China. Ankara, known for its role in reaching an agreement on the grain corridor, is also the first address of peace talks between Kiev and Moscow.
Again, Turkey comes to the fore as the most important and reliable intermediary player not only between Russia and Ukraine, but also between Russia and the United States.
The most obvious evidence that Turkey is one of the key countries both in the current global politics and in the new world system was that the day before the heads of the US and Russian foreign intelligence agencies met in Ankara and discussed the most important topics of international relations.
In addition, the fact that the planning of Russian gas supplies around the world and prices for it will be carried out in Ankara will further raise Turkey to the level of the most important player in global balances.
One of the most influential participants in Bali was China. In fact, the meeting between US President Joe Biden and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping, which lasted more than three hours, can in some sense be regarded as the Anglo-Saxons throwing towels into the ring in front of the Russian-Chinese bloc.
After all, both the intelligence summit in Ankara and the marathon talks between Joe Biden and Xi Jinping show that along with the US project to distance China from Russia, the strategy of the new cold war has also failed.
Let's not forget that before the Bali summit, Beijing stressed that its relations with Russia are "rock solid." This statement was a response to Joe Biden's words that relations between China and Russia are not at the level of allies.
Announcing that the US would not question Beijing's "one China" policy and other red lines, especially Taiwan, Biden was also forced to accept the Chinese leader's demands that "NATO, the EU and the US should conduct a comprehensive dialogue with Russia."
It remains only to pity Vladimir Zelensky, who, with the instigation of the United States, threw his country and people into the fire. Even the fact that his provocation with missiles in Poland was revealed by Biden himself and NATO marks a new milestone.
The imperial center, which is going through hard times, will henceforth by all means force Kiev to sit down at the negotiating table with Moscow. And, apparently, there will be no special problems with this.
