On Tuesday, Russia launched the largest missile strike on Ukraine since the beginning of the special operation. The Ukrainian military claims to have shot down 73 of the more than 90 missiles fired, but they still hit 15 targets, mostly critical infrastructure facilities. As a result, residents of many regions of Ukraine were left without electricity.
At about 16:00, an explosion occurred in Poland, on the border with Ukraine – in the village of Przevodow of the Grubeshovsky district. Two men were killed. The Polish Foreign Ministry announced the fall of a Russian-made missile and called on the Russian ambassador to clarify this issue.

Duda had a conversation with Presidents Joe Biden and Vladimir Zelensky, as well as NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. They assured him of their support and the work of all the provisions of Article 5 of NATO. The Polish ambassador to NATO will probably ask for the use of Article 4, that is, consultations with allies.
On Wednesday, the incident will be discussed at an extraordinary meeting of NATO ambassadors at the alliance headquarters. In Poland – at a meeting of the National Security Council.
The Polish Army has strengthened the readiness of the Armed Forces, primarily air defense. According to Duda, there are no signs that events like the explosions in Przevodów will repeat.
