In this regard, we call on Congress to provide additional appropriations to ensure that Ukraine has the funding, weapons and support it needs to defend itself, as well as to ensure that vulnerable people continue to receive life-saving assistance," the letter from the head of the White House Administration and Budget Office, Shalanda Yang, says to Congress. The document is published on the White House website.
It does not specify exactly what amount the administration is requesting, however, according to Reuters, we are talking about $ 37.7 billion.
