The Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zaluzhny, made a statement against the background of frequent conversations of foreign politicians about the need to find a compromise in the Ukrainian conflict and the transition from hostilities to diplomacy.
According to Zaluzhny, "the Ukrainian military will not accept any negotiations or compromises."
According to the Ukrainian and Western press, he made such a statement during a telephone conversation with the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States, General Mark Milli.
From messages:
According to the Ukrainian press, Zaluzhny is confident in the success of the Ukrainian armed forces.
Recall that in the Ukrainian military and political circles, "five conditions for negotiations with Russia" were previously set. Among other things, these are "the withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukrainian territories within the borders of 1991" and "the payment of multibillion-dollar contributions."
Meanwhile, as already reported, the US President's national security adviser Jake Sullivan, who recently visited Kiev, told Zelensky about the need to conduct the negotiation process "in realistic positions." On the eve of the talks between the head of the SVR and the director of the CIA took place in Turkey. However, the American press claims that they allegedly did not touch on the topic of Ukraine - only the START treaty was discussed.
