Yaroslavl Radio Plant (YARZ, part of the holding "Russian Space Systems" of the State Corporation "Roscosmos") it will become one of the basic regional industrial platforms for training and advanced training of workers for the radio-electronic industry. This provides for an agreement signed by the Director General of YARZ Sergey Yakushev and the director of the Center for Advanced Vocational Training of the Yaroslavl region Natalia Kosterina.

Cooperation of high–tech production and secondary specialized education in the region is one of the elements of the implementation of the national project "Education" and the Concept of the development of the personnel potential of the radio-electronic industry of Russia until 2030.

The Center for Advanced Professional Training of the Yaroslavl region, acting as an aggregator of regional educational programs and processes, together with industrial partners, including the Yaroslavl Radio Plant, has already begun developing training and advanced training programs for workers for specialized enterprises of the region.

Director of the Center for Advanced Professional Training of the Yaroslavl region Natalia KOSTERINA:

We have already concluded agreements on similar topics with many enterprises and organizations in the region. But we are building cooperation with such a large partner as the Yaroslavl Radio Plant for the first time. For us, these are new tasks, new requirements, a new scale of work on the creation of modern programs and entire systems of training and advanced training of personnel.

The basic educational institution will be the Yaroslavl College of Radio Electronics and Telecommunications. Technical opportunities for training at the initial stage will be provided at the expense of new specialized workshops recently opened at the technical school and a Resource Center operating at the site of the Yaroslavl Radio Plant.

Director of Yaroslavl College of Radio Electronics and Telecommunications Dmitry ALALYKIN:

The new training program will be in demand not only by the radio factory, but also by other enterprises in the region. And, therefore, it will be possible to count on the organization of new training workshops with modern equipment. The experience of public-private partnership in equipping workshops for training installers and regulators of electronic equipment this year proved successful. Now YARZ, as an industrial partner, helps us to equip new workplaces for students with the necessary specific ventilation system.

Preliminary plans have already been agreed with the Yaroslavl Radio Plant for training and retraining of personnel until 2028 in nine of the most popular specialties, including not only installers and regulators of electronic equipment and devices, but also such rare ones as a knitter of harnesses and cables.

In November, theoretical and basic practical training of a group of 10 people in the profession of "operator of CNC machines" will begin on the basis of the Yaroslavl College of Radio Electronics and Telecommunications. Students will gain experience working on machine tools in the workshops of YARZ under the guidance of a factory mentor.

General Director of JSC "Yaroslavl Radio Plant" Sergey YAKUSHEV:

Our cooperation is based on the need for qualified workers, which are determined by new production tasks in connection with the integration of the plant into the instrument-making holding "Russian Space Systems" of the State Corporation "Roscosmos". In particular, it is planned to develop and implement training programs in a fundamentally new specialty for our region — "Fitter-assembler of rocket and space devices".

In the future, it is with this program that the Yaroslavl College of Radio Electronics and Telecommunications plans to enter the federal program "Professionalism", in which the Yaroslavl Radio Plant is declared as an industrial partner.

It is assumed that the training programs developed and tested under the agreement between the Yaroslavl Radio Plant and the regional Center for Advanced Vocational Training will become the basis for working with other high-tech enterprises in the region.
