Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen, during bilateral meetings with European Council President Charles Michel, US President Joe Biden and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, said that his country intends to send its specialists to Poland in coordination with the Japanese authorities to train the Ukrainian military in mine clearance skills. This is stated in the statements of the Foreign Ministry of the kingdom published on Sunday by the Prime Minister's office following the talks held on Saturday.
"The Prime Minister stressed Cambodia's firm position on the inadmissibility of the threat of the use of nuclear weapons. He also informed President Biden about the cooperation between Cambodia and Japan through the Cambodia Mine Clearance Center and the Japan International Cooperation Agency on the issue of sending Cambodian sappers who will help train the Ukrainian team of sappers in Poland, and about Ukraine's request addressed to Japan to provide equipment for mine clearance," reads a statement posted on Twitter on the page of the head of government's office kingdoms.
