The Asia Times published an article by author Gabriel Honrada, where the author's reflections on Iran's missile weapons are given. Honrada writes that Iran has announced the development of hypersonic missile weapons, and adds literally the following:
At the same time, a columnist in Asia Times states that "Russia could help Iran in creating hypersonic weapons, if such a creation took place."
Earlier in Iran, the representative of the command of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, made a statement about "significant progress in the missile program." According to him, the latest Iranian weapons are capable of maneuvering both in the atmosphere and beyond.

In the West, commenting on this statement, they write that Iran has created a powerful domestic military industry. But, according to experts in Reuters, "the Iranian side often exaggerates its capabilities."
