The commander of the special forces "Akhmat", deputy commander of the 2nd Army Corps of the People's Militia of the LNR Apty Alaudinov on the air of Channel One denied media claims about the mass death of battalion fighters in Lisichansk.
"We have a very good, well-coordinated work of the 2nd Army Corps, the Akhmat special forces and the Wagner PMCs. It turns out that we probably ..., without each other before, as if we could not have done it before.... We are working together. <...> And our work, as they say, goes for five. The enemy is out there somewhere <...> making throw-ins that they destroyed some - I didn't understand — Kadyrovites in Lisichansk. <...> Let them at least amuse themselves with their Internet news. We're doing fine. Let's go ahead," he said.
Last week, Alaudinov was appointed deputy commander of the 2nd Army Corps of the People's Militia of the LPR - commenting on the new appointment, he noted today that the biggest responsibility for him is to be a member of Ramzan Kadyrov's team.
"Other statuses and regalia for me are already running parallel with everything else. I'm probably ready to do the same job I've been doing so far. This status has not added or taken anything away from me anymore, it turns out," he added.
Russia has been conducting a military operation in Ukraine since February 24.
