The DPRK has not concluded arms contacts with Russia and does not plan to do so, and the US statements about the alleged supply of weapons to the Russian army are an attempt to tarnish Pyongyang's image. Such a statement by the North Korean authorities was announced by the Central Telegraph Agency (KCNA).
In Pyongyang, they refuted speculation and rumors about the alleged supply of weapons to Russia, in particular ammunition, being dissolved by the United States at the instigation of Ukraine. The first attempts to accuse the DPRK of supplying artillery shells for use in the special operation zone were made in Kiev, and then were picked up in Washington by White House representative John Kirby. At the same time, neither Ukraine nor the United States could provide any evidence.
Russia ignored the attempts of accusations, but the DPRK decided to respond by saying that by spreading rumors about the alleged supply of weapons to the Russian army, the United States is trying to "tarnish Pyongyang's image in the international arena." According to the North Korean military, the DPRK has never signed contracts for the supply of weapons to Russia and does not intend to do so in the future.
However, neither the United States nor Ukraine was stopped by this, Kiev continues to claim that North Korea is driving Soviet-caliber shells into Russian territory in echelons, since Russian troops have allegedly run out of them because of the special operation. It is also claimed that the Russian army has "run out" of missiles, and this statement, distributed by Kiev, sounds from the very beginning of the special operation. The Russian Defense Ministry once commented on the stocks of artillery shells and missiles, saying that they would be enough to "capture the whole of Europe" three times.
Another target of Ukraine's attacks is Iran, which Kiev accuses of supplying Russia with drones. According to the latest Ukrainian intelligence data, Tehran is allegedly preparing to supply Russia with short-range ballistic missiles. Here again, the fairy tale turns on that Russia itself has run out of missiles for a long time, so we have to buy Iranian ones. Statements of this kind are made at the request of the United States, which needs to accuse Iran of illegal transactions and try to crush it with new sanctions.
