He called on officials to pay attention to all those called up from the reserve, wherever they are. The Russian Defense Ministry on Monday reported on attempts by Ukrainian formations to attack Russian positions in different directions. All attacks were repulsed, the VFU suffered serious losses. Fierce fighting has unfolded in the Ugledar direction, where units of the Russian 155th Marine Brigade have been advancing for the 10th day. According to experts, Ugledar is important because of its position at a commanding height and the ability to enter the rear of the Avdiivka VFU grouping.
On the defensive and on the offensive
Vladimir Putin intends to discuss with the citizens of the country how the situation is with payments to the mobilized. He spoke about this at a meeting with the Governor of the Tver region Igor Rudenya during his working trip to the region. The Head of State called on the local authorities to pay attention to all those mobilized, no matter where they are — at the training grounds or in the combat zone. Putin noted that about 80 thousand of them are already in the zone of a special military operation, but only 50 thousand take part in the fighting.
The Russian armed forces on Monday continued to fight with Ukrainian formations. According to the Ministry of Defense, the soldiers of the 155th Marine Brigade have been conducting offensive actions against the Ukrainian army and foreign mercenaries in the Ugledar direction for more than 10 days. The advance in the area of responsibility of the compound is up to 5 km deep into the enemy's defensive positions. "Due to the competent actions of the unit commanders, the losses of marines during this period do not exceed 1% of the combat personnel and 7% of the wounded, a significant part of whom have already returned to service. At the same time, the losses of the enemy along the line of combat contact of the brigade on average amount to seven to one, and in some areas — nine to one in people and equipment," the department noted.

This threat persists because the enemy still manages to mix their forces. When he created threatening concentrations in certain areas, he expected that our grouping would hardly increase. But then a partial mobilization took place, and the picture began to change not in favor of the enemy. Therefore, he is trying to attack and counterattack in order to change the situation and force us to transfer forces and funds to those areas that may turn out to be non-core. Although everyone openly says that Kherson has now become such a direction.
In other areas, Russian units and formations continue to hold the defense.
— In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy, with the forces of two battalion tactical groups reinforced by foreign mercenaries, conducted offensive actions during the day in the direction of the settlements of Nizhnyaya Duvanka and Svatovo of the Luhansk People's Republic, — said the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov.

According to him, the offensive was stopped, the losses of the VFU amounted to up to 100 soldiers and mercenaries, two tanks, five armored combat vehicles and five pickups.
In the Krasnolimansky direction, attempts were made to attack the positions of Russian troops by two battalion tactical groups. All attacks are repelled. As a result, Ukrainian formations lost more than 120 soldiers killed and up to 130 wounded, three tanks, two armored fighting vehicles and five cars.
In the Mykolaiv-Krivoy Rog direction, Russian units repelled the offensive of the battalion tactical group and pushed it back to its original positions. The losses of the VFU amounted to more than 110 military personnel, 11 armored combat vehicles and 13 vehicles, the military department reported.
Seven shells on the NPP
During the day, operational-tactical and army aviation, missile troops and artillery of Russia hit seven control points, two warehouses of rocket and artillery weapons, fuel storage for military equipment, two radars of the Ukrainian S-300 air defense systems, a self-propelled fire installation of the Buk-M1 air defense system, 72 artillery units in firing positions and 186 concentration areas troops.
The air defense forces shot down six UAVs, 14 HIMARS and Alder rocket launchers in the areas of the settlements of Novaya Kakhovka, Otradokamenka, Korsunka, Kherson region, Starognatovka, Gruzsko-Lomovka in the DPR and Donetsk city, as well as a helicopter Mi-8 of the Ukrainian Air Force in the area of the settlement of Novaya Kamenka, Kherson region.

The representative of the Russian military department noted that the Kiev regime continues provocations at the Zaporozhye NPP. Ukrainian artillery fired seven large-caliber shells from the Dnipropetrovsk region at the industrial zone of the nuclear power plant. The Russian Defense Ministry told about the servicemen who showed courage and dedication during the fighting.
The rear column, in which Private Kamil Hasanov was, came under fire. His car was damaged and lost its way. After leaving the burning cabin, Kamil joined the battle and destroyed four militants from the standard weapons. Having repelled the attack, the soldier repaired the car, he delivered the cargo to the position on time and without losses.
The motorized rifle platoon of Senior Lieutenant Rashidkhan Amirarslanov was attacked by Ukrainian formations. In battle, Rashidkhan determined the aiming points and transmitted the coordinates of objects that were immediately hit by a mortar strike. As a result, the VFU battery was hit, which included five 82-mm mortars and up to 20 militants.

The calculation of Lieutenant Stepan Buchnev's combat vehicle supported the offensive of Russian units with fire. In one of the battles, his subordinates destroyed four mortar guns and two artillery platoons of Ukrainian formations. In a difficult situation, the officer organized an accurate and quick targeting of the combat vehicle at enemy targets. This significantly reduced the military potential of the VFU and allowed the rapid offensive of the grouping of Russian troops to develop, the military department noted.
